⚔️The Second Attack On Wonderland⚔️

At the same time, Chloe realised that she had to help Bridget. She began towards the castle when suddenly the alarm went off. The attack began--the second attack to be precise--she increased her speed.

No one stopped her from barging in as the soldiers were already busy fighting the enemies. Chloe couldn't't find Bridget anywhere.

"Where is the queen?" She asked a guard.

"I don't know, she's saving the people trapped inside!" He answered and went along with his assigned regiment.

She went straight to the castle avoiding banging into the people running in the opposite direction.

Inside the maids were helping eachother in escaping and few guards were assisting them.

Chloe found herself running around the corridors of the castle while the guards ran the other way. Uliana's attack on Wonderland this time was more deadlier.

Bridget was wearing her fight-outfit like what she wore in the present. The outfit design was the same, the only difference was that it had the colour pink along with red and black.

Chloe reached the castle garden, which was half destroyed by the attacks. There she saw Bridget fighting against Uliana and her crew. A guard ran past Chloe and yelled,
"Your majesty! The prince is missing!"

Bridget looked around and left the battlefield to search for her son. Chloe too left from there and began to search for Red. She had no idea which time this was. However she was sure that this was many years in the past as Bridget's hair was pink and red.

"I'll catch your son!" Uliana laughed as she began to charge towards her.

"Not even in your dreams will you touch my baby!" Bridget struck Uliana with her staff and the latter fell to the ground.

Chloe began to look around the massive garden of destroyed rose bushes.

"Red!" She called out. "Prince Red!"

There wasn't a response from anywhere.

"This boy!" Chloe grumbled. "Always gives everyone a heartattack."

She reached the end of the garden and that's when she saw something.

Five year old Red was crying inside the broken stone garden store house. Bridget sighed in relief once she saw him. Chloe couldn't believe how cute Red was when he was small. She also noticed that not just one lock of his hair was pink but nearly half his bangs were pink in colour.

"Mummy!" He yelled when she saw Bridget.

"My baby." Bridget ran towards her munchkin and hugged him tightly while kissing his head.

"I'm scared, mummy."

"Mummy's come. Now you don't have to scared of anything." She held him closer and her warmth made him feel relaxed. "Why did you leave your room?"

"I got scared. I want to be with you." Red held her tightly. "I love you, mummy."

"I love you too, my baby." Bridget lovingly brushed his hair and wiped his tears. To Bridget it was like looking directly into James' eyes. "Now, come with me." She carried him out of there just before the roof could collapse. 

Chloe realised the reason behind Red's behaviour. All his life, he spent in hiding from dangers and threats. He didn't have a carefree childhood like her's. Above all, she had her father while Red grew up fatherless and his mother had to raise him, run the kingdom and defend it from Uliana.

All this started to cause rifts between Red and Bridget as Red grew up to be a rebellious teenager while Bridget had to tirelessly work for everyone's safety.

"They were so close." Chloe said to herself.

"Yes."

"Ahh!"

The Hatter arrived there which scared the life out of Chloe.

"How did you come here?"

"Just borrowed a spare chronosphere from Time. Don't tell him."

"HATTER!!!!!!!!" Time yelled in his castle and he realised that one of the spare chronosphere was gone.

"By the way, what you said was true, they were very close." Maddox added.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Bridget and Red, both have their own mistakes in their relationship turning sour.
Bridget thought that keeping a strict attitude will be able to protect Red while the little rebel didn't ever question his mother's reason behind her nature."

"You mean to say that they both didn't try to understand each other?"

"The Queen wanted to protect him while the little rebel wanted his freedom. Both were right in what they wanted but their methods was wrong."

"So, now what?"

"Where's Red?"

"About that." Chloe coughed. "I don't know where he is."

"You WHAT!?"

"Can we talk about that later and help here first?"

"Alright."

Hatter and Chloe joined the soldiers of Wonderland against Uliana and her crew.

Bridget, as she was taking Red to safety, saw the new allies fighting.

"Who are they?" She asked as she continued to run but at exactly that moment Uliana sent a powerblast towards them which threw them on the ground.

When they fell, Red was separated from his mother and Bridget fell unconscious.

"Mummy." Red ran towards Bridget and tried to wake her up. "Mummy, mama! Mummy wake up. Mummy. I wish daddy was here." He began to cry.

Chloe saw little Red crying beside Bridget. It was exactly the same way he cries even in the present. Rubbing the sleeves of his jacket to his cheeks to wipe his tears. Chloe ran towards them and saved them from an attacker.

Red saw her coming and thought that she was coming to hurt them.

"Mummy help!" Red yelled. Bridget regained consciousness and saw Chloe. She sat upright, wrapped Red in her left arm and with the right hand she held her sword.

"No no, I'm here to help." Chloe explained. "You're majesty, let me help you."

Chloe, Bridget and Red went to the entrance of the garden and in a small room. Bridget hugged and kissed Red on the forehead. She then told him to wait there with Chloe as she went to fight for her kingdom.

"My baby, wait with her till I come back ok?" She looked at Chloe. "Please take care of him for me."

"Ofcourse." Chloe answered.

Hearing the scream, Bridget ran back out.

"Mummy." Chloe caught Red as he was about to run out. "I want my mummy."

"Your mummy will come back, Prince, calm down." Chloe carried him.

"Do you know where my daddy is?" He asked her.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know."

"I didn't see him. Only his pictures. Mummy misses him a lot." Red looked out. "And this octopus keeps troubling."

"Your mummy will teach this octopus a lesson that she will never come back."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Red hugged Chloe. His hands were so small to go around her long curly hair.

"I like your hair." Red added. "So many circles."

"I like your hair, too." Chloe ruffled his hair. "So soft and silky."

"Hatty says it's special."

"Hatty?"

"Yeah, his name is uh.....Madmax Hatty."

Chloe couldn't help but laugh for a few seconds. "It's Maddox Hatter, Red."

"Oh." Red replied innocently.
