Despite his good looks and charms, Duncan never had a succesful relationship.

Ahri - She ends up cheating on Duncan while he's captured by Blackheart and gets tortured in Hell by Mephisto. He later wages a war in Hell which lasts an unkown ammount of time.

(A few years later)

Jalter, Medusa, Morgan, Gorgon, and Scathach - Michael ends up destroying the Throne of Heroes using the Blade of Azrael which ends up killing all of the Heroic Spirits.

Mirellia Q. Melromarc - She gets killed alongside her entire world by a corrupted Naofumi possessed by a fragment of the Darkhold. Ashley ends up killing Naofumi and retrieving the fragment.

(A few billions years later)

Nicole Kaslana - This events would've taken place in a book called Ghost Rider: To Be Better. Nicole is taken by the church and burned at the stake, branding her as a witch while Duncan is in Hell dealing with a civil war between the young generation of Hell Lords. This leaves Duncan as a single father to their 1 year old girl.

(1 million years later)

Aponia - During an incident in the Previous Era of Honkai Impact. Duncan confronts Aponia in a church and rippes his ring finger off and throws it away alongside his wedding ring. Aponia's actions almost lead to the execution of an innocent girl which( a.k.a Rin, which views Duncan as an older brother). Duncan tore through a military base and slaughtered the soldiers that almost gunned down an innocent girl, those soldiers were looking for easy kills. Aponia used her powers to take away their fear, giving them courage enough to attack the girl.

(50000 years later. A tired and very PTSD filled Duncan tries to leave his furry and vengeance behind, trying to be better. But his trauma gives birth to two personalities, Angel Rider and Ghost Rider. Duncan tries to embrace the Angel Rider, becoming the Spirit Of Justice, unfortunately he is much weaker when he rejects his anger.)

Raide Mei - During an confrontaion in Arc City between Mei and Durandal, Duncan jumps in between them, he's older and slower. During the fight he tranforms into the Angel Rider in order to protect Mei. After the fight ends, Duncan is taken into custody by Mei, Theresa, and Himeko. They lock him up into a containment module, put him into a straight jacket, chain him up, and muzzle him up. Mei and the others are terrified to know that Duncan in a demon of the legends that terrorised the world in the bibble. During an interogation Mei asks Duncan to choose between the Angel Rider and her. This makes him snap and finally embraces his old self... the Ghost Rider, The Spirit of Vengeance is back! This rejuvanetes Duncan and gives back his full strength. Later, Mei realizes that her aproached wasn't the best and should've been open minded but it was too late, Duncan has left.
