I woke up in the same room I started in after Tyler killed my mom, in the dark basement of a house I've never seen. I heard a whimper in the far corner and I tried my best to see although it was pitch black in the small cement room.
"MAWCIE"
It sounded like Raina but I couldn't really tell, it sounded like she had something over her mouth which made her words muffled and hard to make out.
"Raina?!" I rushed up and felt my way to the opposite corner of the room. I heard her muffled 'yes' from under the tape on her mouth, I felt her head and almost ran into her but her scream stopped me. I sat next to her and hugged her, I hated to be here with Tyler and that stupid lady who I hated even though I didn't even know her name.
I reached for Raina's mouth to take the tape off so we could talk. I blacked out and I figured she saw more than I did, I knew it was Tyler I just didn't know what happened after I fell on the floor my neck in exctrusating pain.
"Raina, can you tell me what happened when Tyler got me in the mall?"
I tried to sound calm but didn't succed, Raina was already scared to death I tried not to make it worse.
"Well, I didn't see much, when he made you collapse he made it seem like you just fainted then he told me to follow him to the back enterance. I didn't want to but he seemed calmer than before plus I knew the ambulance was back there also."
As I listened to Raina tell the story I was wondering what was gonna happen next, what Tyler would do to me...to us?
There was a shadow standing at the door and Raina and I froze, it was pitch black in the room so we had no clue if it was Tyler or the lady. We could hear every footstep they took and it echoed as they got closer. I felt a hand touch my shoulder gently and I tried not to scream or let out a wimper.
"Marcie?"
The voice was a woman's so I was less scared and gave Raina a reasurring squeeze on the leg telling her it wasn't my dad.
"Yeah, who are you?"
I knew it was the lady but I wanted to know her name.
"I'm Leah and I know about your mother."
I couldn't breath, the next thing I knew I was running out on the street with the mysterious house behind me, Raina running right along side me.
