In the middle of her break her phone rings, kaiyah flips open her phone and sees it's an unknown number but her intuition tells her to answer it so she does "Hello? who's this?" she says confused. "hello is this Kaiyah?" a deep voice says at the other end of the line and he sounds just like someone Kaiyah used to know until it clicked and it was Yasu. "Yasu?"

There was a pause on the line as Yasu puffed on a cigarette, the crackle of the smoke filling the silence before he exhaled. "Yeah, it's me," he said in his usual deep, monotone voice.
Kaiyah let out a small laugh. "I knew it was you with that deep-ass voice." But her amusement quickly shifted to confusion. "Why are you calling me out of the blue? Did something happen?"
Another pause, more drawn-out this time. Yasu was taking his time with his cigarette. "No, nothing happened. I just wanted to talk. Catch up. Maybe over dinner?" His voice was as dull and flat as ever, but there was something about the offer that caught her off guard.
Kaiyah furrowed her brow, still unsure about the sudden call. "Um... sure, but where?" Her tone was hesitant, suspicion creeping in.
Yasu took another drag before responding. "Wherever you want. Don't worry, I'll cover it," he said, his voice serious. She couldn't tell if he was being genuine or if there was something else behind the offer.
"Alright, we can go to R/N," she answered, still unsure.
"Sounds good. Tomorrow at seven?" he suggested, his voice still carrying that same emotionless quality.
"Mhm. Seven works," she replied, distracted by the strangeness of it all. A few more pleasantries were exchanged before they hung up.
As the call ended, Kaiyah stared at her phone, still confused. Why now? she thought. Why suddenly reach out after all this time? She tried to shake off the uneasy feeling, but it lingered as she realized her break was over. With a sigh, she tucked her phone away and went back to waiting tables, her mind still swirling with questions.

As she got ready for dinner, Kaiyah opted for something casual—it wasn't a fancy occasion, just a cheap diner where friends usually hung out. She threw on a black zip-up hoodie with faux fur lining around the hood, which hung off her shoulder, giving her an effortlessly relaxed vibe. Paired with distressed, ripped flare jeans and open-toe platform sandals, her outfit screamed cool and laid-back. A d.i.a spec belt cinched her waist, while silver bangles and hoop earrings added the final touch, blending into her signature rokku gyaru style.

Kaiyah glanced at herself in the mirror, shifting her weight from foot to foot, a slight frown tugging at her lips. She couldn't remember the last time she felt nervous meeting someone. But tonight, with Yasu, it was different—crazy even. She never got anxious about seeing anyone. Yet, here she was, her stomach doing flips over a dinner with a guy she hadn't seen in forever.

She sighed, shaking her head. "What's wrong with me?" she muttered, smoothing down her hoodie before grabbing her bag. There was no turning back now. She opens the door of her pink R33 GT-R Nissan, she looks at herself in the rearview to make sure she looks good before she drives off.

As she walks into the diner she sees Yasu, he looks the same as he was in high school but he looks different at the same time, she was with his height or he had gotten  muscles. Either way he was more attractive than before

Kaiyah walked up to yasu awkwardly and she looked up at him.

"Hi, Yasu." She says a little nervous which was a little crazy because she never really got nervous around anyone.
Yasu tilted his head slightly, raising an eyebrow. "Why do you sound nervous? You know me," he said before stepping forward and pulling her into an embrace. His arms wrapped around her waist, firm but gentle, his grip possessive yet familiar. Kaiyah tensed for a moment, caught off guard by the unexpected intimacy. His body was warm against hers, his muscles taut beneath the thin fabric of his shirt, and she could feel his heartbeat faintly against her chest.
