Lilia and Ling exited from the cave greeted be a path in the deep forest. The lion boy began to walk as the fae follows him.
They both continue has the sun began to hide little be little. As Lilia looks around he sighs "We should take a break. I am aware that you are worried Ling but if the Hyrogen are here we should find something to refuge. The night will give them more chances to hunt us."

Not so far for where they are the komainu boys are jumping on the brunch of the tree's as behind them two Hyrogen are pursuing both of them.
As they tried to run away one of them grits his teeth "Damn it! They're to stubborn!"
Ling and Lilia sat in the ground as they took two emergency bar rations as they began to eat. Lilia choose to speak "So... How big is your family?"
The lion boy looks at him "... I have my father and my mother, my big brother and my little brother. II was the middle child. We are big and fantastic family. My father was always making sure that we receive the same amount of love and caring to each other."
The fae nods "I see but... There something bugging me... If they always cared you... Why did you-"
"Why did I left?" Ling sighs disappointed "Not so long ago some clans began to look down on our clan. The reason is simple... All the offspring's of other clans are strong warriors and passed the rite of the growth that is about taking a egg of PAKO. We can say is a similar to an eagle but with golden feathers. It was considered a sacred creature. Everyone did it but..."
"You didn't manage to pass it right." Lilia answered as the o the boy nods "My siblings even my younger brother did but I... Am the only one... The elders even consider it unfitting for me to stay and some wanted to expel me... My father did all his might to protect me as well as my family... Until I found the crashed probe."
Lilia smiled as he put his hand in his shoulder "For me you are more strong than you think. Those years you prove that you are brave and strong. Even if you are a counsellor... You prove yourself sometimes that you can command a starship as well. Ling."
The lion boy smiled as he looks at the captain "I am so happy to have meet you all. You, the crew of the Vanrouge."
Lilia only nods with happiness as they both stood.

They quickly stood as they look at the direction where shoots are coming. Lilia took his phaser as he the hood to cover his ears and Ling also prepare himself. Both rushed where the shoots are coming.
They run towards the shootings sounds as they hide in the bushes. And they saw it. One Hirogen lied in the ground dead as the other pints his weapon towards both komainu's "Now angered me after killing my partner. Want to ask help to our enemy's? You will be saved! Your planet will become a hunt zone game for us. And they never will knew it!"

The alien hunter fell as the both of them look at the direction. Ling phasers was expelling a little of Vapor from the shoot as Lilia stared at him in silence. Well... It was in non lethal mode at least.
