Ariella

With a determined look Ariella walked through the floo at Black Industries. She exchanged a small nod of good morning with Peloma as she spoke on the phone. She had chosen a small office on her father's floor for the time being. She would likely be taking over his office when he left. She walked into the small office farthest down the hall and set her purse on the desk. It had been a week since she started and she felt more and more unorganized with her quickly growing work load.

A knock on her door caught her attention "Good Morning little lion" her father mused affectionately. She scoffed shuffling around the paperwork on her desk "Dad, not at work" she chided softly. He chuckled "I think you need more room" he teased eyeing her desk. With a sigh and a shake of her head she agreed, this was temporary but she hadn't expected to accumulate so much already. "You need a filing cabinet" he mused, she leveled a dry look at him as he smirked. "Come with me" he urged with excitement as she followed him. "How's Harry?" He questioned as they walked towards the lift. "Happy to be back on the pitch" she explained with a small smile.

He had tried to sneak out of bed before even the sun had risen. Ariella had followed him into the shower and distracted him the same way he had her first day.

The pair of them stepped into the lift by Peloma's desk taking them up a few levels. "I thought this was under construction?" She murmured looking out the glass windows to the city around them. "It was" her father mused knowingly with a smug grin. The lift came to a smooth stop and the doors opened as they walked into the newly completed space. Her mouth parted slightly as she looked around in awe. "Do you like it?" Her father questioned quietly as he stood next to her.

The entire floor has been designed into an entirely new department. A very large receptionist area sat before them the entire room done in shades of black with low hanging lights that emited warmth into the space. "A new department?" She questioned looking around, he nodded quietly.

There was a rather posh seating area to the left of the lift. Expensive plush couches that sat around a large black coffee table. A luxurious coffee bar to their right, shelves lined with all the toppings for an extravagant coffee. "What for?" She questioned walking down one of the hallways located behind the large reception desk. "Whatever it is you would like to manage yourself sweetheart" he explained following after her. The hallway was long, panes of floor to ceiling glass sectioning off individual offices and boardrooms.

"I thought I would take over the usual high end clients" she confessed as she soaked in every inch of newly renovated office space. They rounded the end of the hall looking out the windows at the city, the glass darkened to keep from warming the office. "If that's what you want little lion, but this isn't my building anymore, it's yours. I want you to do what you want to do not just follow in my steps" he encouraged with a smile as he looked out at the city. She felt a tear slip down her cheek as she looked at him looking so proudly out at the city. "Your leaving aren't you?" She questioned in nearly a whisper. He turned an affectionate smile to her, "Darling, I've done all I can do here, it's your turn. I've taken this company as far as it will go with the purebloods. Now it's time to see what you can do with it" he murmured proudly.

She smiled softly at him as they walked back up the opposite hallway from the first. Withdrawing a tablet from his blazer he explained "The glass can be changed-" he explained dragging his finger down a brightness slider. The glass in the halls turning darker and darker until they were black blocking out any passerbys gaze. She smirked "We're still setting up security for the office, Harry wants office personnel to have certain access to certain wards" he explained. "Harry?" She questioned curiously. Her father beamed down at her "He's very protective" he mused playfully making her smile.
