Ariella

"Ari, I really have to go" Harry pleaded as Ariella laughed against his lips. She shook her head, kissing him harder as he pleaded without pulling away from her. He sighed, slipping his hand down her naked body to cup her ass. "Come on baby, we'll win an early game, get your investors on board and then have another long weekend alone in our bedroom" Harry offered, making her grin. She released her hold on him, watching the way the water ran down his cheek, to the corner of his mouth. "Fine" she murmured, kissing the same spot and reluctantly letting him go to finish washing her hair. "Take your tux" Ariella reminded him as she held onto his hand. "I'll leave my jersey in the closet" he said affectionately with a grin that stole her heart all over again. She bit her lip and nodded as he left the shower, their fingers the last to separate as he did. She smiled to herself at the butterflies he was still able to make flutter within her stomach.

Ariella dressed in a pair of designer denims and a white hooded sweatshirt. Straightening her hair and adding some light makeup she additionally charmed a small Falcons eagle to her cheek. Tucking Harry's jersey away into a small shoulder bag she hung across her body. She pulled on a pair of white runners and collected her phone. She had given up with Draco but she had never stopped checking for messages. She smiled nonetheless as she opened a video of Emery trying to take her first steps. Ariella laughed under her breath as she texted Savanna.

She starts walking, you're all in trouble.

She smirked when Savanna replied,

She starts walking, she'll need new shoes. Chanel?

Ariella pocketed her phone with a grin and took the stairs down to the sitting room. "Hope you're up" Ariella said to herself as she dropped a handful of floo powder and called out Astoria's address. "Tori!" Ariella called as she crossed the medium sized apartment and walked into her friend's bedroom. "It's Saturday, go away" Astoria groaned, hiding her face under a pillow. Ariella laughed as she crossed the room and opened her curtains "Salazar, I'm changing the bloody wards" Astoria hissed. Ariella beamed down at her friend "Sure, but for now we're going to breakfast." Astoria groaned with frustration as Ariella went to start the shower for her. After ten minutes of complaining Tori finally got out of bed, Ariella's eyebrows rose at the old Gryffindor t-shirt Tori was wearing. "Are you still seeing Cormac?" Ari asked curiously. Astoria rolled her eyes "No, I'm not seeing Cormac" she argued and peeled off the shirt, "I just—get lonely sometimes" she confessed tightly before marching into the bathroom.

Ariella wandered into the closet and quickly threw together an outfit before tossing it onto her bed. With a towel wrapped around her head and her body a much more lively Tori questioned, "Where are you taking me?" Ariella beamed and gave her an innocent shrug as she left her to dress. Astorias apartment was immaculate, everything had a place. Sleek, modern and stylish. Everything from the furniture to the wall colours. Ariella's eyes caught on a small pile of unorganised letters on the hutch by the door. A small stack of unorganised letters, the words 'IMPORTANT NOTICE' in large red font on most of them. Ariella hesitantly reached for one but drew back nearly the same time Astoria walked into the room.

"Alright, what are we doing?" she mused looking much more pulled together in her equally casual outfit. Ariella flashed her a smile and together they left her apartment. Ariella slipped on a pair of sunglasses to hide her features and together they found a small café to have breakfast in.

"...so I tell him as nicely as I can that I don't think this is going to work out" Astoria explained as she ate her croissant. Ariella nodded, listening happily as she drank from the warm mug between her hands. "And he goes, 'since we're clearly not going to be sleeping together tonight, would you mind paying me back for dinner'" she explained unbelievably. Ariella's mouth nearly fell open "No, he didn't" she argued, Astoria nodded enthusiastically before the girls started laughing about her latest blind date. "Will the bill be separate?" the waitress asked as Ariella shook her head. "Yes, separate," Astoria said quickly, avoiding Ariella's eye contact. Choosing her battles carefully Ariella let it go, she hadn't ever been one to bully her friends decisions.
