I wake up in a room with no windows, but light comes from the ceiling in floating lights. My hands push up on a plush warm cream white bed that had blood stains from my wounds that were bandaged and wrapped. My clothes had been changed into a white frilled nightgown that has embroidered feathers on it with ruffles around my neck. Someone must had taken my old clothes that were probably torn to shred, that poor beautiful dress and lace that Inchiki gave me. Its hard to move but I stand up and see two doors, one across from me was large and doubled door, the other smaller and simpler. The room was dark until it lit up to show an immaculate room by my awakened presence. I check the main double doors, unfortunately it was locked with no keyhole to see, but I still check other and it opens to bathroom. I don't have my key though, and I try to wish for Inchiki to find this door. I glow slightly but I feel as if my muscles are filled with lead. There's a slight fever that I can feel with the back of my hand too as I realize I'm drained of most of my power.
I look for weapons in my room, only finding a comb, a pen and some shoes. I am a weapon as well but I cannot muster to change my form. I bang on the double door that were gilded in gold with elegant moldings around it, "Let me out right now!" I scream out, but my throat is raw and dry as if I had been screaming for hours. My stomach twist and I suddenly feel sick, I cover my mouth to keep down my stomach as I race to the bathroom.
I puke blood up with food as well until my stomach is empty into the basin. When I'm done I drink some water from a fountain that was ever flowing. It must had been from Silvia's blood that made me ill when I ate her skull. Not only was it other god's blood inside her, but it was Nuir's and I'm sure that was not good for me. I sit down on the cold tile floor, the room had light that felt like it had a window but it was artificial from the majick on the room. I cover my face with my hands. "I'm so screwed," I moan and weep into them and I feel worst than before with my fever. I lay down and press my face into the cold tile to cool off until I start shivering and glowing. I groan louder and look down at my ring, trying to see if maybe I can send something down to his. "Inchiki, if you can hear me. I'm sorry. I love you." I was going to die here, because I would never let them take me back to Nuir. This was all my fault, my familiar, those mages deaths, Silvia's, and maybe Caleb if the spring didn't help him. I hoped Inchiki was safe and I hope he would forgive me.
A long talon comes out of my finger and I put it against my throat, sharp enough I already feel a bead of my blood wet my skin. "Common!" I groan. Frustration takes over me as I hold my hand, but then I hear doors open outside the bathroom.
I had the bathroom door closed, but I hear steps get closer and closer. Would I be fast enough to do this, or would they find a way to save me and contain me. No, I couldn't do it. I tried to sit up, but my head was so dizzy that as I try to stand to fight I fall over and my head hits something hard. Stars and black dots fill my vision as my head throbs in pain. I hold onto it and I can feel the warmth of my blood. The door swings open and I look at the person who comes in, but they're obscured in shadow. "What did you do to her!" I hear a familiar voice say, was it Kiev, or Korv?
"She's been running a fever for a day now, we've been trying to get her to drink and take medicine. She must had fallen due to it." Its Ailos I see next to the obscured figure, "Take her, I don't want her to die."
"I don't need your permission. Your delusion is what got her here to this point." My eyes remain closed as my head pounds and someone picks me up and cradles me gently. I feel cool fingers move the hair out of my face, "If you so much as look at her again Ailos." I can tell now being closer to him its Kiev who speaks, but he says something too quiet for me to hear next. I glance at Ailos' face, who looks like he looked at a ghost.
"It was you?" Then Kiev turns me away, "You did that!" Ailos yells at him now, but he doesn't seem to stop Kiev as if he's afraid.
Kiev laughs loudly and we disappear together into darkness as I am lulled into a sleep.
