"Morning," I said walking down the stairs into the common room.
"Hi," Nathan yaws.
"Good morning," Lorenzo yaws, too.
"Hello," the third yawn comes from Theodor.
"Where's everyone?" I ask.
"Getting ready," Theo answers, "Where's Matt?"
"Riddle's a slow ass," I say, sitting down on the couch.
"Hey, what do you think if we go and they catch up?" Enzo offers. I nod and stand up from the couch. We walk out of the common room and into the hallways. We walk in the Great Hall and over to our table where about a dozen of students are sitting. I pour a cup of coffee as soon as I sit down. The 3 boys sit down in front of me and then someone next to me. I turn to see Riddle grabbing a pancake.
"Bad night, Riddle?" I smirk while taking a sip out of my cup.
"Awesome one," he smirks back, taking a sip of his drink. We look into each other's eyes before we hear a moan from Enzo.
"I have DADA today 3rd period," he cried.
"Same," me, Nate, Theo, Matteo, and Pansy confirmed.
"Hello," she said after.
"Why didn't you wait for us?" Astoria asked, walking over to us.
"They were dying from hunger," I told her.
"We have it tomorrow," the girls and Blaise cried.
"We'll go and check the water for you," Theo winked.
"Oh, Marta. I forgot to tell you. On Saturday evening we have a usual start of the year Slytherin party. And you are coming. And on Sunday we will go swimming in the Black Lake as usual. As long as it doesn't rain," Pansy said.
"No, no, I'm not–" I started but was interrupted by a croissant being shown in my mouth.
"Yes, you are. I don't take any no's," she refused to listen to me. I groan and take a bite from the pastery and put it on the plate in front of me.
We ate our breakfast and went off to classes. The first 2 classes went calm and interesting, but then the DADA came.
I entered the classroom with Nate, Pansy, Enzo, Theo, and Riddle and we went to sit in the middle. I sat with Pansy, while Riddle and Nate behind us, Theo and Enzo in front. Some girl made a paper bird and made it fly around the classroom. The whole classroom laughed and tried to catch it from their seats until the bird fell down in ashes on someone's desk.
"Good morning children," Umbridge said and everyone turned around to see her from the back. "Ordinary, Wizarding, Levels. O, W, L. Mostly known as OWLs. Study hard and will be rewarded. Fail, and consequences are gonna be fatal," she smiled and waved her wand at the books that flew up in the air and started giving themselves out to each student. "Until now, the teaching of this subject was disturbingly wrong. But it will be good for you to know that since now the learning of the Defense Arts is gonna be going under the сarefully made program that was approved by the Ministry methodic." As she was saying this bullshit, I looked over the book. No practice. "What?" She asked as a girl with curly hair raised her hand.
"But it doesn't have anything about the practice of enchantment!" She pointed out. It was true. Not a single word.
"Enchantment?" she laughed, "I don't understand why you need to enchant in my class!" she exclaimed.
