I've been looking out the tower I don't know how long. Counting the stars, awoking the constellations in my head, bringing up the memories of my childhood. Stargazing was always one of my passions, which I've gotten from my father. The stars always awoke peace in me. The little diamonds were sort of my safe space when no one else was around. After a hard day, I would go up the stairs to the roof of my house and just look at the night sky over a busy, bright city.
"There you are!" A voice comes from behind me. I quickly turn around to see Matteo walking up to me. I look at him with wide eyes. I meet his ice cold gaze, with the same cold smile. My eyes pierce into him, gaze concerned. "What?" I whisper. After a minute of silence he explains, "Nathan is looking for you. He's worried." Oh fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck. What time is it? I take out my phone the next second the thought hits me. The bright light hits my face as I look at my phone. It's 21.23, almost 2 hours after I left. For god's sake. 23 notifications, 8 missed calls. Oops.
"I'm leaving. You are not allowed into the room until 12. Figure out where to sleep if you don't want to wait until there," I say, and quickly leave.
I'm dead.
