When I made it home I went to Grace's room. I knock on her door. I go inside when I hear a faint 'Come in'

I sit on her bed then sign, "My bad for not letting you know I wasn't coming straight home. My social battery went out and I needed to smoke."

She nods and smiles, "It's okay, just try to let me know next time. But, how was your first day? You like the school or do you want to try another one?"

I smile a little, "No no, I like it. I met a girl named Blake today and she's so pretty. She's also a stud though so I'm not sure if she would like that I got a.. you know." I nod my head to my lap.

"Girl-" She laughs, "If she really likes you then it won't matter and plus y'all just met, give it time hun."

I roll my eyes and sign, "I know. But she said it wasn't a problem that I have a penis. But I don't know."

Grace puts her hand on my shoulder, "Be patient and let everything play out, give subtle hints that you like her- not yet since you guys just met, maybe next week or later."

I nod, "Yes ma'am. Im going to head to my room, do you mind not coming in? Like I said my social battery ran out, I want time too myself."

She nods with a smile, "Girl You know I barely come into that room but of course."

I chuckle quietly and go to her door. I wave at her before leaving. I go into Carson's room and sit at his desk. I put my finger to my lips- telling him not to talk.

He signs, "Had fun with Blake?"

I signed back with a small smile, " Yea, she saw my tattoo and asked if I was okay, she also saw the scars under my tattoos on my arm and gave me a hug. I liked the hug too."

He has a shocked expression on his face and signs, "You liked a hug? Physical contact? You need to slow down bro, you just met her."

I sigh and nod, "I know and I understand that, I was just telling you what happened."

He nods and signs, "Can you go now? I was about to beat my meat."

I scrunch up my face in disgust and get up.

"Don't do that, you got a dick too."

I walk over to him and slap his neck then I punch his arm, "That was from earlier. Stop putting your hands on me in them folks school."

He laughs.

I chuckle before going to my room, locking my door. I put my speaker in my bathroom and connected it to my Ipad to play music. I strip and take my shower.

When I get out I put my undergourmets on and some shorts. I grab my Mac book and vent about my day. It was now pushing 11, when I checked my phone and went through my notifications I saw that Blake texted me.

***-***-****: Hey mazz

Maz: Hey

I save her number, after I saved it she texted me back. She text back fast.

Blake: d for 3 hours is crazy

Maz: lmao Mb

Blake: You got home safe?

Maz: Yea, thanks for asking

Blake: Of coursee

Maz: Im gts now, goodnight

Blake: night nightt

I heart her message and put my phone down. I grab a book from my bookcase and start reading until 12. I put a book mark and put it up. I go to my closet to find a fit for tomorrow. I pulled out my brown 'SP5DER' sweat suit and red Bapestas. I lay back on my bed and go to sleep to Daniel Ceasar.

I wake up to my alarm, I turn it off with a sigh.

Hm, no nightmare..

I get out of bed and do my hygiene stuff. After, I put on my clothes and shoes. I go downstairs and to the kitchen. Carson's not down here yet.

Grace turns around when she hears my footsteps. I swear this lady hears everything.

"Goodmorning, slept good?" She asked, fixing a bowl of oatmeal.

I sign, "Yes actually, no nightmare."

She smiles, "That's good. Tell Carson to come eat for me."

I nod and go upstairs with my bowl. I knock and open his door.

He looks up at me from tying his shoe, "What?"

I eat some of me oatmeal then point at it and nod my head back- saying the food is ready.

He ties his other shoe and grabs his book bag. I turn around and go to my room to get my bag and headphones. I make my way back to the kitchen to see Carson- once again- stuffing his face. I chuckle quietly and wash my bowl.

"We takin my car." Carson said.

I shrug and sign, "Cool, I will be in there waiting for you. Don't take long man."

He mugs, "Aii."

"Bye y'all, don't eat anything heavy after school and be back by 4 o clock since I'm cooking tonight. Do anything need to be signed before I leave?"

I shake my head before signing, "No, but can I go to tryouts Saturday?"

"Yea, for flag football?"

I nod.

She nods, "You can, let me know when it ends so I can drop you off and pick you up. I don't want you driving while you're tired after."

I nod and sign, "OK"

She waves before walking out of the house.

Carson gets up, "Le'go."

I nod and walk behind him. We ride in silence. When we get to school we go our separate ways. I go to the library and he goes wherever. I sit at a table in the back and grab my Ipad. I connect my Ipad to my headphones and watch 'Chainsaw Man'. I feel someone tap on my shoulder. I instantly mugged before turning around. When I see that its Blake I fix my face.

She smiles and hugs me, catching me off guard. I stiffen before relaxing and hugging her back.

I will never get used to that.

She pulls back, "Your brother told me you would be here. You like to read?"

I paused my show and type, 'Yes but I was in here because its quiet'

"Ohh, you wanna come to my house after school?" She asked with a hopeful look.

I sigh a little, I wanted to be by myself but she too cute not to want to go.

I type out, 'Sure but I will come over after dinner, Grace wants us there for dinner'

She smiles, "Okayy bett." She said excitingly.

The bell rings and I put my Ipad up.

"Walk together to class?" She asked me, getting up.

I nod with a small smile.
