Years pass, it's now 1996, Princess Kathryn is now 14 years old and attends a school in South London, she in the years following Live Aid and her first meeting with Felix, had gotten interested in music, she had learned to play guitar and she writes songs to cope with the stress of being Royalty and recently her parents divorce, which was hard she was currently in her room, playing acoustic guitar when William walked in the room and sat on her bed. "Do you take requests." William asked. "Yeah, sure what do you want to hear?" Kathryn replied. "Can you play me Starman by David Bowie." William asked. "Sure, I didn't know you were into Bowie." Kathryn replied a teasing tone in her voice. "I don't, I've heard you playing it and I like it, especially when you sing." William replied. "Fine, I'll play and sing Starman by David Bowie for you." "Oh have you heard, apparently your music teacher is going to be partnering you up with someone for a music project." William said. A few days go by and Kathryn's music teacher pairs her up with Felix to which they recognise each other. "Felix?" Kathryn asked. "Kathryn. It's been years." Felix replied. "Yeah it has." Kathryn replied and then Felix's girlfriend came out, she was a red head girl, Kathryn instantly recognised her as her ex best friend, Abigail, but don't say anything and just smiled politely, as the time passes by and we rehearse, she began realising she had a crush on Felix. "Hey Mum!" Kathryn called out one night looking for her mum wanting to vent to her. "In my office sweetheart!" Diana called out, and then Kathryn ran into her office wanting to see her mum. "Hey mum, can I vent to you?" Kathryn questioned, not wanting to disturb her mum. "Of course you can Sweetheart, you don't have to ask." Diana replied her loving maternal tone in her voice. "Great, so I've got an issue, I've got a crush on someone, who is dating my ex best friend, Abigail. And we're paired up for a music project." Kathryn explained, desperately hoping her mother would understand. Diana listened intently, noticing the hint of sadness in Kathryn's voice. She knew all too well the complexities of teenage love and heartbreak. "Oh, sweetheart, I see. That sounds like a tricky situation. It's not easy when you have feelings for someone who's already with someone else – especially when that someone else is your former friend." Diana states calmly. "So what do I do?" Kathryn questioned. "Just tell him, get it out of your chest." Diana says. Kathryn nods and a few weeks go by Kathryn and Felix our rehearsing for their music project and then all of a sudden their lips touch but they don't pull away from the kiss until Kathryn finally does. "Oh my god we shouldn't have done that your dating Abigail." Kathryn says panicking. "Hey calm down." Felix soothes her. "And me and Abigail are practically over I'm breaking up with her tonight, she's too toxic." Felix states calmly.
