It was now 1985, Kathryn had found about Live Aid and she as a 3 year old Princess wanted to attend once she found out her parents were going. Kathryn, at just three years old, had somehow gotten wind of the Live Aid concert and was now bugging her parents non-stop to let her come along. Charles and Diana chuckled at her determination and enthusiasm. Charles, one morning spoke when Kathryn was having a tiny tantrum about it, "Kathryn, sweetheart, you're a bit too small to attend Live Aid." Diana, holding little Harry in her arms, chimed in with a smile. "It's a big event, darling. We wouldn't want you to get lost or overwhelmed in the crowd." "Am not, Harry's small" Kathryn huffed stubbornly. Charles chuckled at Kathryn's determination. He knelt down to her level, placing his hands on her shoulders.Charles spoke softly to her "I know you're not as small as Harry, but you're still very young, sweetheart. Live Aid is a chaotic place, lots of screaming fans and loud music." "Yeah and? I've had worse, the screaming after Harry's birth was worse" Kathryn said as she used her quick wit to come up with a reply. Diana couldn't help but laugh at Kathryn's argument. It was true that the aftermath of Harry's birth was pretty chaotic. Diana then said  "That's true, love, but Live Aid is a whole different level of chaos. There will be thousands of people there, it'll be very crowded, and we just want to make sure you're safe." "But it's no fair William got to go horse carriage driving with Grandpa (Prince Philip) and i didn't" Kathryn winched slightly. She hated not even getting an invitation. The mention of William's horse carriage driving adventure caught Charles and Diana's attention. Charles chuckled, remembering the memory. Charles then said  "Ah, yes – William's little joyride with Grandpa. But that was very different, sweetheart. Driving a horse carriage requires a certain level of maturity and coordination." "He's 13 minutes older than me, and yet can't spell the word 'cat' yet, you sure he is mature? " Kathryn had a tiny pout on her lip. Diana stifled a chuckle at Kathryn's unimpressed demeanor. Charles had to bite back a smile at the thought of William struggling to spell "cat". Charles than spoke up "Well, maturity comes in many forms, darling. And yes, he might need a little more practice with his spelling, but that doesn't mean he's not ready for certain things. Everyone develops at their own pace." "But it's not fair William gets everything because he's the future King" Kathryn says, she wasn't even meant to know William was going to be King one day but Abigail her friend told her that. Charles's expression softened as he heard the disappointment in Kathryn's voice. He understood her frustration, even if she was too young to fully grasp the complexities of the royal line of succession.Charles than said "Listen to me, sweetheart. Just because William is the future King doesn't mean he gets everything. We treat you and your brothers equally. We love all of you dearly, and all of you have unique talents and qualities that make you special in your own ways." "He still gets everything" Kathryn  say as she walked off into her  room and closing the door behind her. Charles and Diana watched as Kathryn walked off into her room, closing the door behind her. They both sighed, feeling a mix of sadness and frustration at the situation. Diana then spoke up first "She's feeling a bit left out, isn't she?" Charles responded with "Yes, she is. I think she's upset that William got to go horse carriage driving while she didn't. She feels like he's getting all the special treatment. Diana nodded, understanding Kathryn's point of view. Diana then says "It's not easy for her, Charles. She's the only girl, and on top of that, she's behind both her brothers in the line of succession. It's understandable that she might feel overshadowed or unnoticed." Charles sighed, feeling a pang of guilt at the thought. Charles responded with "You're right. We've been so focused on preparing William for his future role that we might have unintentionally neglected poor Kathryn. We should make an effort to spend more time with her and make her feel just as important." Diana then got an idea and spoke up "the only thing she wants is to go to Live Aid" Charles pondered the situation for a moment, considering the options. Charles then got on his protective father instincts "I know she wants to go to Live Aid, but she's just so young. I'm not sure if it's appropriate for a three year old to attend such a chaotic event filled with 100k people." Diana was determined to make sure her daughter didn't feel left out "she'd be in a private box with us and the celebrities" Charles thought about it some more. The idea of having Kathryn in a private box did make him feel a bit more at ease. Charles then said "I suppose having her in a private box would make the situation a bit more manageable. But we'd have to ensure that there are plenty of security measures in place to keep her safe, and I'd want us to be by her side at all times." Diana sighed in relief. "Good, because, I think what she needs is reassuring that we love her as much as William and Harry." Diana said, she felt empathy for her daughter, she loved her daughter and could understand the trouble of being the spare to her brothers. Charles nodded in agreement. A few weeks later, it is now July 13th 1985, the three year old Princess Kathryn is attending Live Aid, with her parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana, she had met famous celebrities like David Bowie, George Michael and Queen. But that's when she bumped into a four year old Felix Taylor when getting snacks from the snack bar, with her security watching from behind. "Oh I'm sorry" Kathryn says to which Felix quickly replied "it's not your fault Princess." "Why did you call me Princess?" Kathryn questioned. "Well your Princess Kathryn, and in my opinion you the most beautiful Princess ever." Felix said, using his charm he inherited from his father. "I really am not, the most beautiful Princess, that belongs to my mother, she gorgeous." Kathryn said admiring her mother's beauty. "Yeah, sure Diana's beautiful but nothing like you Kathryn." Felix said. "So what's your name?" Kathryn questioned. "Felix Taylor, your Royal Highness." Felix said giving Kathryn a bow. "Oh please just call me Kathryn." Kathryn insisted she was not a fan of using her royal title all the time. "Anyways I'll see you again Felix." Kathryn says as she walks away. "Oh you definitely will Princess." Felix says to which Kathryn rolls her eyes in response.
