The gryfindoor common room was quieter than normal most students either in their dormitories tired out from exams or down stairs in the great hall, in the small gaggle of students sat around the fire was Percy Weasley who had just finished the last of N.E.W.Ts he was watching Fred and George showing off their new inventions with a small smile, he knew he should stop them but he was to tired and they looked happy. He glanced up at the portrait hole just in time to see it swing open as his Ravenclaw best friend Penelope Clearwater waltzed in a big grin on her face (never good) she scanned the room looking for Percy when she found him curled up in the beaten down arm chair infront of the fire her smile seamed to grow wider she walked over to him and threw some sort of book at him, Percy looked up questioningly.
"Penny how an earth did you get in here"
"Magic" she replied winking
"Now move over Fattie" she added, Percy rolled his eyes, throwing up his middle finger ignoring her sarcastic gasp, but moved to the side anyway so she could plonk herself next to him. Neither of them realised this encounter had brought a lot of attention on them, only noticing people staring at them when Fred whistled.
"Got yourself a girlfriend Perce I thought the day would never come" he said loudly. Percy and Penelope looked at each other before Penelope burst out laughing and Percy turned his head to the side pretending to wretch
"No we're definitely not dating" Penelope managed to get out through wheezes
"Never in a million years" Percy added turning his attention back to the book that he was holding, it was a plain black book that had
'Memories' in pink sparkly writing across the front.
"What is this?" Percy questioned looking at Penelope.
"I found a spell that lets you take memories and turn them into videos... on paper ,it's confusing but I've been planning this for a while and it's finally done!"
Seeing how Percy was still confused she sighed and added
"It's like memories of me and you,and our adventures" she wiggled her eyebrows making Percy laugh.
Percy opened the book to see a page of little people moving about when he looked closer he saw it was him and Penelope sat in the ravenclaw common room he grinned noticing it was him and penny during their fourth year.
"Why were you in the ravenclaw common room"
Fred's voice came from behind the chair making Percy and Penelope jump and look behind them.
Fred and George were stood behind looking over their shoulders at the book.
"You two are so nosey" Percy rolled his eyes but turned the page. On the next page was him in the ravenclaw common room again but this time the common room was filled with people and loud music was blasting from the book turning many questioning heads towards them.
"is there a way to turn this down?"percy questioned
"No...sorry" penny smiled apologetically, percy groaned but turned his attention back to the book his face went red when he realised he was downing shots like there was no tomorrow he looked sheepishly behind him to see fred and george in shock
"didnt know you had that in you perce" george laughed still staring at the book in shock
"you havent seen the worse of it" penelope smirked.
"shut it" percy snapped but the smile on his face betrayed his tone. He turned the page again to see him and penelope in a slytherin dorm room surrounded by a few other familiar faces, slytherin faces
"is that" george started
"marcus flint" fred finished
"yes were friends" percy replied
"yeah friends" penelope sniggered, percy jabbed her in the ribs with his elbow making her call out in pain
he realised what party this was and glared at penelope
"really?" he grimaced knowing what was about to come
just as he thought he heard fred and george gasp dramatically behind and he looked back at the book to see him and marcus flint kissing as multiple people in the picture whooped
