The ball had been a great hit. There had been no catastrophes, everyone enjoyed themselves and finally, Jessica and Albus were finally going out. They were a cute couple everyone could admit and to those closer to them, like Scorpius and Rose, it was a relief that they weren't still secretly pining after each other. The four of them where often seen together, down at the lake, in the new joint common rooms the Headmistress had made room for at the beginning of term, at lunch. Hogwarts had had a happy atmosphere to it and far too quickly it was Christmas once more. The quartet decided, for the first time ever, to spend their Christmas at Hogwarts, much to their parents dismay.
"Their just upset cause this is our second last Christmas before we finish school," Rose said as Albus sent another letter apologising to his parents along with his Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron.
"Yeah but we're still going to see them other Christmas'. I plan to lead a long life, I'm not going to stay away every year!" Albus sighed.
"I guess everything's settled this year, even with my dad you know? And Jessica was going to be re introduced as your girlfriend. Our parents will just be feeling left out I guess. I mean your parents all have people for Christmas. Dad's on his own." Scorpius added also scribbling furiously.
"They'll live, I told dad I'm gonna visit at Easter instead," Jessica stated swinging her legs as she sat on the table that both Albus and Scorpius where leaning on.
"Good idea! I'm gonna add that in my letter, then dad doesn't have to wait until Summer!" Scorpius grinned while Rose and Albus nodded in agreement.
"So it's our first Christmas at Hogwarts and there's gonna be barely anyone here. What should we do?" Rose exclaimed excitedly.
