The next day came. If I said I had a great sleep, it would be a lie. Although I escaped from that enigma's grasp, his face still haunted me in my dreams. With a sigh, I got up from bed. My feet touched the cold floor, and I quickly started jumping towards the kitchen, slowly making coffee for myself. Once my tongue tasted the bittersweet taste of it, my whole body woke up. I washed the cup slowly, getting used to the cold water. Once I was done, I went inside, finished everything, and took a bath.
By the time I came out, it was eight-thirty. I quickly started making a light breakfast for myself, and finally, after eating, I grabbed my backpack and started walking toward my college. The morning rays of the sun touched my face, making me feel a small warmth in the cold atmosphere.
I saw many other students walking with me toward the college. They recognized me and said "Hey," which I replied to with a smile and a soft wave of my hand.
I reached the college and walked toward my class, where I found my friend group. We all sat in our respective seats, waiting for class when suddenly the college assistant came and informed me:
"Rain, you are called to the principal's office."
I stood up reluctantly, still confused about the request. I felt my friend pinch the back of my hand, and I let out an "Oww," glaring at him. I slowly followed the man. Once we reached the principal's office, he gestured for me to go in, and as soon as I entered, I suddenly heard the loud sound of the door closing and locking. I quickly turned and started knocking on the door.
"What kind of prank is this?" I thought to myself and kicked the door harshly. The door was strong, but I was sure a few kicks would open it. But before I could, I felt a presence behind me, breathing on my neck.
It scared me. I quickly turned around to meet those dark eyes again. My eyes widened in shock, and a loud gasp escaped my mouth. How the hell is he here?
His mouth curled upwards into a smirk, watching my reaction. It angered me, but I was too terrified to do anything.
"Hey, Moon..." he whispered, stepping closer to me, and I pushed my head back, trying to sink into the thick wooden door. I just wanted to get away from him, no matter what.
Suddenly, his long tongue came out, licking my lips. I flinched and started trembling at his action. Although I didn't want to talk to him at all, I still found a little courage and slowly said:
"W...hy ar...e y...ou her...e?" I cursed my tongue for stuttering like that, but I was too scared, afraid he might beat me half to death again. Maybe this time, only my dead body would be left.
"L...ook, I...'m so...rry i...f I d...id something wr...ong. P...lease l...eave me..." I said again, trembling, as he hadn't responded to my first question.
His hand reached for my cheek, caressing it softly, and his touch felt like a burn.
"You didn't do anything wrong, Moon, except come in front of me..." he said, his last words dripping with authority and darkness. My whole body shivered. Being close to this man was like bathing in ice during December.
"W...hat?" I let out, not understanding his response. He didn't reply for a few seconds, just staring into my blue eyes with his dark ones, his face too close for comfort.
"Won't you welcome your new principal, Moon?" he said, and I was once again shocked. How could that be possible? Principal? No, it can't be true. But the way his eyes looked at me made me believe it was.
"W...elcome, sir," I said and quickly turned my back to him, hoping he would let me go now. I knocked a few more times, but still, no one opened the door. My hand was dropping when he grabbed it tightly, slamming it against the door along with his. I let out a whimper.
He put his chin on my shoulder, and I gasped in fear again. His hot breath tickled my ear.
"I fell in love, Rain..." he whispered, and I trembled after hearing his deep voice.
"I fell in love with you, Rain..." he whispered again, and I felt something hot on my cheeks. Damn, I was crying.
"P...lease l...et me... go," I stammered, crying in his hold, and his hand suddenly grabbed my hair tightly, turning my face toward him. His lips met mine in a harsh kiss. He kept biting my lips. His long tongue tried to enter my mouth again and again, but I wouldn't let him, not until his hand tightened on my hair again, and a shout of pain escaped my mouth. He took the opportunity to let his tongue roam inside my mouth. I dug my nails into his arms, but it was like scratching stone. I wanted to let my wolf out, but what would happen? He'd get hurt again, and he still wasn't fully healed. Even my human self wasn't healed. I cursed my pathetic fate and let out a whimper when that animal bit my lip harshly, making it bloody.
"I can't let you go..." he said between kisses, and I cried into his mouth, tasting my tears. They did nothing except make me feel weak.
"You are my love, Rain. Let me mark you..." he suddenly said, and everything went blank for me. I pushed him away harshly. Even if he killed me, I couldn't let him mark me.
"YOU DID WRONG, MOON!" he suddenly shouted, and I stood there, breathing heavily, overwhelmed by his angry pheromones. I didn't know why they affected me so much.
"But I'll let you go for now..." he said, stepping closer to me again. My eyes glowed, warning him that I would let my alpha out if he came any closer.
"Oh, don't threaten me, Moon. You and I both know I can block your wolf without even touching you, so stop glaring at me..." he said mockingly, and I was reminded of everything that happened yesterday. My voice stopped again, not because of him this time, but because of myself. I let him come close again. He placed his hand on my cheek, this time with a little more pressure.
His eyes flickered, showing me that one wrong move could cost me my life. I trembled under his touch.
"I'll let you go for now, Moon, but I won't let you go away from me. Not anymore. One day, your pretty neck will bear my mark, and you'll become my mate," he said, his gaze softening slightly as his hand slid down my neck, caressing it.
Suddenly, I heard the unlocking sound, but no one was there. I quickly walked out, turning my head back again and again, confirming he was really letting me go...
