As the start of the vacation came around, most of the cast had left for their hometowns, eager to spend some time away from the spotlight. Pon, however, had a few more commitments before he could fully enjoy his break. His manager had scheduled him for a series of events that he needed to attend, and even though he was itching for a proper rest, Pon decided to focus on these last obligations before finally taking a well-deserved break.

He promised himself not to dwell too much on his feelings—especially not the confusing ones about a certain alpha, Sailub. Pon wanted to clear his head and use this time to relax and reset. Still, those lingering thoughts of Sailub's possessive actions from the dinner kept sneaking into his mind when he least expected it.

Not now, Pon, he thought to himself.  Just get through the events and focus.

The day's event was a bit of a mystery to Pon. His manager had handled everything, so he wasn't exactly sure who else would be there or what the event entailed. All he knew was that he had to show up, smile for the fans, and make sure he left a good impression.

As he arrived at the venue, Pon quickly realized this event was bigger than he anticipated. The crowd of fans outside was larger than usual, and there was a strange buzz in the air, something that felt nostalgic yet unsettling at the same time. It wasn't until he entered the backstage area that he saw a familiar face—his former co-star, Bank.

"Pon!" Bank called out, smiling widely as he walked over to greet him.

"Bank?" Pon blinked, surprised to see him. "What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing!" Bank laughed, giving him a quick, friendly hug. "I didn't know you were part of this event too. It's like a mini reunion!"

Pon smiled back, a bit flustered but happy to see his old friend. "Yeah, I had no idea. My manager set it all up."

Though Pon and Bank had remained friends after working together, they hadn't had the chance to catch up much since their project had ended. It felt good to see him again, and the surprise encounter lifted Pon's mood.

As the event began, Pon and Bank were seated next to each other for a Q&A session. The audience was clearly excited to see them together, especially the fans who had been shipping them ever since their drama had aired. Despite the fact that Pon had moved on from that phase of his career, it was clear some of the fanbase had stayed loyal to their on-screen pairing.

Throughout the event, Pon and Bank shared a few laughs, reminisced about their time working together, and even took some playful jabs at each other, much to the delight of the crowd. The chemistry between them, something that had always sparked rumors back in the day, seemed to have rekindled for the fans watching.

Unbeknownst to Pon, clips of their interactions were being recorded and uploaded online almost instantly. Fans were thrilled to see them back together, even if just for a brief event. Some even started talking about how the "BankPon" ship could be revived, especially now that both of them seemed so comfortable with each other.

After the event ended, Pon and Bank exchanged a few more words before heading their separate ways. It had been fun, catching up like that, but Pon didn't realize the storm brewing online. He had purposefully stayed off social media recently, not wanting to be bothered by any of the edited videos or photos that people kept making of him, Sailub, and Nut. It was easier to block it all out and focus on his work.

As Pon left the venue, he felt lighter. The unexpected encounter with Bank had been a nice surprise, and the event had gone smoothly. He made a mental note to reach out to Bank more often—it was nice having friends who understood the industry.
