I wake up with a slight hangover from last night so I decided to DoorDash some Tylenol and Chase and I some breakfast. The lobby breakfast just doesn't hit like all their other food does.

"Good morningg," I say climbing into his bed. He was still asleep and since he stayed waking me up I will do the same to him. "Chase get upp," I say mimicking that one TikTok audio. He shifts to his back and I get on top of him. "Get up get up get up," I continue to whisper in his ear.

He grabs my hips but doesn't not say anything. "Come on I got food on the way," I say still trying to get a reaction from him. He finally opens his eyes, a part of me feels bad for waking him up because he looks so tired. He stares at me for a moment before closing his eyes again.

I decide to let him sleep for a little longer. I try to get off of him but he keeps me in place. "What you get for breakfast?" He asks in a half sleep voice. "Waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, and some cinnamon rolls from this restaurant I forgot the name of," I say. He sighs and sits up, "Them cinnamon rolls better be good," he smiles slightly.

The food arrives to the lobby and I didn't feel like changing so I went in my moomoo. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out that they gave our food to the receptionist. I head over to the short line at the help desk and wait my turn.

After getting the food from the receptionist I head back up to the room. "Curry really a goat," Chase says shaking his head at the TV. He was watching the Warriors go against the Cavaliers. "The Cavs been untouchable stop the dick ride," I half joke.

He quickly turns to me, I can tell he's ready to argue. "Nigga the Cavs haven't been good since 2009," he shot back. "Oh yeah you were definitely watching the Cavs play at 5 years old," I roll my eyes at his comeback. "Yeah and I been watching Curry play since I came out the womb," he continued.

"Whatever nigga, take your food," I say handing him the Tupperware like container with the breakfast inside. "Ou thank you I love you," he says quickly. I pause rendering what he just said. Then it hit me, we are moving far too fast.

It was like one moment we didn't even like each other and the next we are in each other's skin. I stood there not knowing what to say. It was almost like my response didn't even matter because Chase carried on like nothing happened, so I didn't respond.

I took my food in my room to eat while watching The Vampire Diaries. I couldn't really enjoy my meal since all I can think about is how stupid I am getting involved with somebody I'm probably never going to speak to after a few weeks.

I decide to take a shower to clear my head a little. Needless to say it didn't work, neither trying to clear my head and whatever I have going on with Chase. It just didn't work, we hardly know anything about each other, we probably won't ever speak to each other after the summer, and it will literally be a waste of time.

I haven't been focusing on the things that matter, I'm here to better my work and learns new things. Not get distracted by some boy.

After about 20 minutes I finally get out the shower and I think it actually made things worse. "I need to get a therapist," I shake my head looking in the mirror.

A therapist could help with most of the issues I have but then again getting a therapist means I have to admit I have issues. And I like to think I'm an issueless person. Terrible I know.

I let out a sigh of relief, a distraction from my problems was needed.

I call Mari to see what happened between her and Oteo. Apparently he pulled an "I'm not ready for a relationship" speech out on her, not surprising at all.

"All these niggas are the same, they lovebomb you until they get bored," I tell her.
