Down the rabbit hole

CHAPTER 3

She screamed while she fell until she suddenly noticed she was floating down slowly. She looked at her puffed up dress which was opened like an umbrella, helping her slowly fall down the rabbit hole. She was anxious as she looked around. Suddenly the hole isn't dark at all. There was small light all over the walls and sometimes even clocks and other objects. She was startled when suddenly a sofa came from below and made her sit on it.

The sofa moved side to side and made her fall off, her light blue dress helped once again.'What is this place?' She said stunned out loud.

Never had she thought this would be in a hole. All the things she was seeing were quite shocking. She decided to look down but she hurriedly straighten spine when she felt herself move side to side. If she had dared to look a little closer she would have fallen and gods knew what would happen next.

As she descended slowly she tried to calm herself.

All she could think about was about how to get back up, and once she was out of this hole how to get out of the Forest. Maybe the Forest was dangerous in the end, and oh she was so sad about it. She really thought she could tell everyone about what she had seen. For the first time in years, she had felt actually free. Not the same kind of freedom when she could run until the Willow Tree. She felt her heart free. She was led into the forest thanks to her beating heart, too her aching heart. She was always told to follow her head but this time she could. She wouldn't.

She was looking everywhere. She decided to herself that she was going to get out of here and she would remember everything that she was seeing. Suddenly her feet touched the bottom of the tunnel. Her dress came back to hang from her waist. She patted it down and noticed she was in a bath.

The curtain in front of her is a pale yellow witch she didn't take a long to push aside. The floor was made of black and white marbles. The corridor was long and looked a little cramped.

Her eyes darted to a white tail at the end of the corridor. 'Wait!' She shouted as she tried getting out of the bath and running again after it.

Maybe the rabbit knew a way out, so following it gave her a little hope. She obviously couldn't climb back up that big massive hole.

She ran fast to the ends and once she got there, puffed out, she saw a door. She opened it and her feet carried her forward into this room. She looked around, with her eyes wide. She could not see anything. The only thing that shined were her pair of blue eyes,'What is this place?' There was a table to the side with books and a lamp. She went towards it and switched on the lamp which made the whole room light up. She looked around and her eyes went back to the book she was about to pick up. She opened it then raised an eyebrow when she saw the pages were blank. She placed it back down gently and turned around. She saw four doors, one smaller than the next.

The normal dark blue size door was at the left, but it had no handle. She went to look in the hole on the door. She saw a table with the same headband she was wearing on her head right now. She unconsciously went to check if this was correct, and it was. She touched the bow and she sighed in relief.'Not that door.' She moved to the next one beside. It was smaller and greener than the last, so she had to bend down a bit, 'Maybe this one?' She grabbed the door knob and tried turning it but the door knob fell off.

Alice looked around her, just in case someone had seen her and she placed it back into its place.

She cleared her throat and went to the next door. This door was too small for her to stand up, so she went on her knees. This one was a reddish color. She grabbed the door knob and someone screamed. Alice jumped in her place and her hands went towards her chest.'Oh!' She said as she looked at the door knob. 'Ouch.' It said.'My nose.' Alice was too stunned to speak. Never in her life had she imagined a door knob would be moaning at her, less of all, talking! 'Please forgive me. I never meant to hurt you, uh... Sir?'
