Alice was a little puzzled since she got on the horse. They weren't going in the same direction she had gone, they were going a completely different way. Alice's eyes wandered again through the nature there was and she soon realized they had entered a different king of forest.
'Where are we going?' She asked, looking around the trees. Some of them had scrolls hanging from some branches and were rolled up. They were a dark beige color and looked a little worn.
'We are heading to Lumen. Unless you want to go somewhere else?' He said while Alice eyed him from in front. She was now very much comfortable and wasn't unhappy to be there with him.
'No, no. Lumen is where I need to go. I'm meeting someone.' Raithens eyebrows raised curiously as he "Hummed".
'May I ask who that might be?'
'Baker Annabelle.'
'Really?' She nodded, now looking at some books that were inside some tree trunks. Now that she realized, almost every tree had books inside of it. They looked like shelves, but taller and with leaves.
'What is this place?' She had to ask him.
'This is the Letter Forest.'
'Why?'Maybe it had to be because of the books and scrolls, but it didn't hurt her to hear him speak for a bit. She was also quite curious.
'Have you never heard of it?' She looked around amazed and Raithen realized something.'Where are you from, Alice?' He had this feeling he was missing something. This feeling in his gut told him that this girl was not normal, on the contrary, she was too normal.
' I am from far away.' She quietly said as she still admired the beauty of the forest. Maybe it was her but ever since she came here, she has been more fond of nature. She had a garden in Stock Wood, but it did not compare to Wonderland. Not one bit.
Raithen stopped the horse and Alice's thoughts shattered. Why had they stopped?
'Don't fret, I just need to get something from the Book Garden.'
'I must say, you do have many gardens in Wonderland.'
'You can't imagine.' He got off the horse and picked the raines to walk the horse to a nearby tree. Alice held the reins too just in case she fell. Raithen noticed the small act and knew that if she fell, he would always catch her, 'Would you like to come?'She only stared at him. An invitation to a book garden? Of course she would go.
'I shall be delighted.' He held out a hand to help her down and when she was going to jump down, Raithen caught her by the waist, letting her go once her feet touched the ground.
The tree that was beside the horse was much bigger than the others. Inside the tree looked like there was an egg, but nothing compared what she had thought to watch she was about to see. There was one branch that was slightly reachable, for Rauthen. If she had to open the secret door, she would not be able to.
Raithen pulled the branch down and the trunk of the tree opened, revealing light. Riathe offered her to enter first and so she did. The first thing she saw was this big massive window at the end of what was the Book Garden. It was six feet high and the views were astonishing. Through the window you could see shelves made with roots, flowers sprouting from some of them. There was a small crystalline lake in the middle of the room on the other side of the window and right next to it, stairs ascended to another floor from which a waterfall fell into the small lake. The light was emitted by the small flowers that stretched across the ceiling. They shone like flashlights. Alicia was amazed. I had never seen so much beauty in the same place. His eyes looked everywhere and they fixed themselves on some tables that were made of mushrooms. There were a few people in the library and you could hear the water falling outside the window.
