The next day, as everyone was still waiting for the lab results from the prior day, Jungwon decided to spend his morning reading a book he brought along when he and Jay went to his house to get things.
By the time it was a little past 12:00PM, the doctor decided to eat lunch in one of the snack bars of the living quarters.
He leans on one of the countertops, staring blankly at the half-empty cup of coffee in front of him. The croissant on his plate is barely eaten. Alas, he finds himself swimming in his thoughts again.
What if he couldn’t find a way to safely negate and dispose of the serum? Would that mean he’d be stuck here for years? What if he really couldn’t do it?
Jungwon sighs deeply, cradling his head in his hands out of frustration. He’s brought back to reality when his phone - or the phone Vesselsoft gave to use for work-related matters - began to vibrate on the counter’s surface. He checks the caller ID to see that Sunoo was calling.

“Hello?” he answers tiredly.
“Jungwon.” Sunoo starts, “Chaewon got the test results just now. Jay wants you to come over.”
“Ok, where?”
“Lab Room 4.”
“On the way.”
Jungwon drags himself off the stool, grabbing the phone and leaving the snack bar.

When he enters the lab room, Chaewon, Jay, Heeseung, Sunoo and Jung are there already, all seated on the chairs provided. Jungwon makes an effort to avoid everyone’s eyes, focusing instead on the sheets of paper in Chaewon’s hand.
“What did you find?” the doctor asks immediately.
The female scientist waves the sheets of paper in the air. “So I was right about majority of their stuff being sulfuric acid. And as Jungwon pointed out, there were a lot of nitrogen and hydrogen formulas being tested. Sunoo was also correct in observing the chlorine properties.” she explains.
