after a big christmas dinner thanks to the house elves that worked at greengrass mannor cassie made her way up to her bedroom to change into some more comfortable clothes rather than her dress sweater she had worn for christmas lunch.
she pulled on a pair of plaid pyjama pants and an ugly christmas jumper, as she was pulling on her fluffy socks her bedroom door burst open by her two sisters- astoria and daphne. daphne was clutching her phone whilst astoria stood with her hands on her hips. "woah am i in trouble?" cassie said pitting her hands up like she had been cornered by aurors "i swear i didnt kill him it was the house elf."
"dont joke about things like that cass." daphne said sitting down on the bed beside cassie whilst astoria sat on the other side of cassie so she was sandwiched between the two with no escape. "but no your not in trouble we want to talk to you about something. you see i was scrolling on instagram and i seen your post and as i go to comment on it- "
"she seen mattheos comment and wondered waht the fuck was it about." astoria interrupted which cause daphne to give her a glare.
"but yes i wanted to know what it was about." daphne said putting her phone down and looking at her sister.
"its nothing. hes my friend he said merry christmas thats it. its a nice thing to say to your friends you know." cassie said standing up of her bed, but astoria was quick to pull her back down onto the bed to continue questioning her older sister.
"yeah but you had that big fight. are you telling me you guys are talking again now?"
"no we were just being polite when youve known each other that long that's what you do. omg i feel like im being interrogated."
daphne shook her head at her sisters delusion. "so its normal for someone to call you sia yes?"
"daph its just a nickname, its nothing i promise." cassie laughed at the words her sister was saying- it was completely normal for mattheo to call her that, perhaps that was the reason she didnt think anything of the nickname.
astoria scoffed at her older sisters comment "yeah right, you called him matt and he never (she exaggerated the never) lets anyone do that with out shouting at them. so whys he not done it too you. huh?"
"i dont know but i think you two are making things up. anyway come on i think nancy said shes making rasberry tarts." cassie said getting up off her bed and walking out the room. daphne and astoria shared a knowing look at each other and laughed at their sister's ignorance to the situation they had discussed and with that they left the room in hunt for some rasberry tarts.
