SIX STUDENTS REPORTED MISSING FROM GLEN HIGH, COMMUNITY IN PANIC
By Amelia Nolan
Six students have recently been reported missing from Glen High School, their disappearance was reported between the time-frame of 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM during a school-organised gathering. This has been the common consensus discerned amongst the countless student reports.
"Glen High School is consistently recognised for its prestigious rank of top 3 in yearly listings of the best public school in Melbourne."
There is a lack of responsibility showcased by a reputable high school, namely Glen. School grounds are a place of education and a safe zone for generations to come and for such an appalling event to haphazardly occur, will indefinitely taint the school's reputation. The reinforcement for strict security should be strengthened in the wake of such unexpected circumstances. Subsequently, many parents remained unaware of their child's disappearance as many had expected a late home return from the social gathering event. Authorities have suspected this as a case for a potential planned mass kidnapping, as The AGE have reported. The Victorian Police have taken immediate action in combating the case by deploying a stationed team of detectives in school grounds for student and staff questioning.
Interviews were held with potential students who may have witnessed their peers' disappearance amongst the crowd.
"After the event concluded we had an after-party at my house where everyone was invited and I didn't see any of those six come over," stated a worried girl, April Levine, the alleged hostess of an afterparty.
"I don't know what happened but everyone around me fears what happened will happen to them next," replied young James Bailey hesitantly, an enlisted acquaintance to a known victim, "They even took Johnathan."
"On behalf of the school and the education department, I sincerely apologise for my oversight in the safety of students. Please, I pledge everything I own along with my positioning as a principal to beg of everyone to please not worry. We are doing everything in our power to retrieve your lost loved ones."
The interview concludes with the statement made by Andrea Shaffers, Glen High's recently appointed principal.
