Yoongi's Pov

The plane hummed, a low, constant drone that was the soundtrack of our return to Korea.

It had been two weeks, two long weeks, since I last saw the familiar sights and sounds of home. And while the Island getaway had been pleasant, I was ready to be back. Except, the thought of stepping back into that routine - the endless schedule, the press, the never-ending gym cycle

I could almost picture Jimin already dragging me to the gym, that mischievous grin plastered on his face. I rolled my eyes, even though I knew I'd be giving in to his relentless enthusiasm soon enough.

I glanced over to Jimin, his head tilted back, mouth slightly open, snoring softly. He looked peaceful, so unlike how he usually was.

He'd been working hard lately, those late nights leaving him drained, but still, he'd dragged himself out to enjoy the sun and the beach with me. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair that he pushed himself so hard, always putting me first.

The thought of him being so tired, yet still willing to spend his precious few free hours with me, tugged a familiar ache in my chest.

His chest rising and falling with each breath. He was fast asleep, leaving me to my own devices. Boredom settled in like a heavy fog, suffocating any semblance of excitement.

Should I wake him? Nah. He was working late nights, trying to keep up with the demanding schedule, and he deserved every minute of rest. He'd be a grumpy mess if I disturbed him. Still, I couldn't help but poke him with a playful nudge.

A faint groan escaped his lips, but he remained fast asleep.

So, I sat back, trying to ignore the gnawing boredom, my gaze flickering out the window at the clouds, their shapes morphing into familiar cityscapes and landscapes in my mind.

I decided to order some snacks from the flight attendants. I figured it was better than staring blankly at the in-flight entertainment, which was just as boring as watching paint dry.

A small bag of chips, a box of chocolates, and a tiny bottle of water - enough to hold me over till we were home.

I munched on the chips, trying to ignore the bore feeling. It was quiet, too quiet, and the only sound was the rhythmic thump of the plane's engine. I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't even notice when Jimin stirred beside me.
