Fuck. Is it deranged of me to enjoy her looking up at me with those wide eyes? Amelie Astor having fear painted on her face isn't a regular sight, but it is a gorgeous one.

"I told you. I'm not yours." She retaliates, crossing her arms defiantly.

"No?" I reply, tilting my head and bringing my face to hers. "I would disagree with that."

"Disagree all you want, it won't change a thing. I'm not a piece of land you can just own." Amelie sneers.

I bring my hand to her hair, twirling my fingers between the dark locks. I hear her breath hitch for a moment, blood rushing to her face. It's been, what, a week since the initiation? Her thinking she could trick me is just cute.

"You know you want this too, Kotyonok." I mumble.

"I really don't."

"Oh, you do. One day, you'll flirt with me cause you're just as obsessed with me as I am with you. Not to play some sick game." I smile viciously.

"It'll be a cold day in hell before that happens." She scoffs. "And what the hell does that word mean?"

"Little cat."

"Excuse me?" She raises an eyebrow, unamused.

"Kotyonok. That's what it means, consider it a pet name. You remind me of a feisty black cat."

"Are you actually saying these words right now?" She deadpans, jaw ticking.

"You asked, I merely answered." I give a lopsided grin. Oh, how I love making her angry.

"I'm going to kill you one day, Yuto."

"And I would happily die by your hand."

"Where have you been?" I step into the Heathens mansion, I live in my own apartment off campus but visit here a lot.

Cass stares at me quizzically as she awaits for me to answer the question. Cassandra Carson, Gareths younger sister and Killians twin.

"I was in the library, studying." I shrug, I doubt Amelie would enjoy having people know I met with her. Although, it would be fun to tell people just to see her yell at me.

"Yeah right." She scoffs, rolling her eyes. Her dark hair cascades down her shoulders, green eyes popping. "I'm heading out."

"And where are you going?" Gareth asks, inspecting her dress.

"I'm meeting with Annika and her roommates." She answers.

"Really?" Gareth replies, seemingly skeptical. "How come?"

"Annika has been gushing about them since she moved in and that Ava girl she hangs out with seems interesting. Then I ran into Alicia and she invited me so I thought, why not?" Cass says, touching up her lipstick.

"Alicia invited you? I always thought you scared her." He shrugs then turns to me. "When we would visit the Kings as kids, Cass and Kill would cause havoc to purposefully freak her out. Probably why she likes me best."

"Well, anything for chaos." I look at Cass, shooting her a grin.

"Oh, she's definitely nervous around me. It's kinda cute, her fidgeting. I like women like that." Cass smiles to herself sadistically.

Vaughn magically poofs into the room, staring Cass down. "Don't be an asshole to her." Then mutters to himself. "Why'd she invite you?" I raise an eyebrow, what's got him all worked up?

"Oh, calm down, I wont. Y'all make it seem like I'm a terror or something."

"Well..." Gareth begins.

"You are." Vaughn and I reply in unison.

"Okay, fuck you guys." She says, flipping us the finger as she walks away.

Vaughn stands with his arms crossed, agitated in some way. "You good?" I ask.

"Peachy." He grumbles, grabbing his phone and texting someone as he walks away.

I look down to my phone vibrating.  Good, I was waiting for this call. He better got what I wanted. I excuse myself to go to the bathroom and quickly answer.

"Hey, you got what I need?" I ask, voice cold.

"Yes." He answers. "You were right, she is the one from then."

"Good. Send the information to me as soon as you can."

"Yes, boss." He answers before I close the line and put my phone in my pants. A part of me believes this is going to be much more complicated than I thought it would.
