Maria Rose Benson, is a 10 year old girl with autism and anxiety who also has an eating disorder.
Her dad Michael was an alcoholic who passed away from a real bad car accident when she was 8 , her mother Martina is a drug addicted who sleep with multiple men and she also has a 5 year sister Skylar .
When Maria was 10 she was raped by her mother's boyfriend James and when she told her mom that James raped her but she didn't believe her.
After a year of constantly being raped by James she finally gained the courage to defend herself.
that later night around 9:00 when the man came in her room and tried to touch her again she carefully grab the knife that was under her pillow and she stabbed him multiple times.
She grabbed the bag that she packed with her clothes her iPad and charger and a book with pictures of her and skylar .
Maria run out the house and down the street she didn't know where she was going and at the moment she didn't care she just wanted to get away .

After a while of running and walking Maria was so tired that her feet were hurting and she was hungry.
As Maria was walking down the street she seen the gas station she always came to with her friend from the neighborhood that she use to play with .
Hey Mr Rico" she said as she walked in the store .
"Hello Maria how are you doing?" Mrs.Rico asked.
"Im doing alright how about yourself?" Maria asked as she look at him.
"Im doing alright darling what brings you into my store this late?" Mrs.Rico asked.
"Oh I hungry so I came to get a snack" Maria said to Mrs.Rico.
"Okay well hurry because I'm about to close my store for the night" Mrs.Rico said.
On that note Maria picks up a big bag of cool ranch Doritos and a fruit punch juice and makes her way to the counter.
"Alright is This all you getting?" Mr Rico asked.
"Yes sir I don't have that much money so I have to get what I can afford" Maria said.
"I'll tell you what how about you go fill your book bag up with all the snacks and stuff that you want" Mrs. Rico said to the little girl.
"Oh no Mr Rico I don't have enough money to pay for all of that stuff" Maria said.
"No darling it's on the house you don't have to pay me anything" Mrs. Rico said.
"Really?" Maria asked looking at the man like he was crazy.
Yes and hurry because I have to close the store now" Mrs. Rico said.
Maria opened her back pack and started stuffing snacks and drinks in her bag that had alot of space she then goes to the counter to show him the stuff that she had.
Mr Rico grabbed her back pack and looked at all the snacks and then he slipped a 25 dollars bill in her bag when she was not looking and gives her bag back.
"Okay bye Mr Rico and thank you so much for the snacks" Maria said to the kind man.
"Bye Maria take care and you're very welcome" Mr. Rico said with a smile.
Maria then leaves the store and starts walking down the street eating one of the snacks from her bag.

After walking down a street Maria sees her bestfriend Leah house.
Maria then runs up to the door and rings the door bell but no one answers so she turn around to leave.
Before she could walk away the house door opens and her bestfriend mom was standing at the door.
Leah's mom never liked Maria because she thought Maria was the reason Leah acted like a ( hood rat with no home training ).
"What are doing here this late Maria?" Mrs Jackson asked mean mugging her.
"Oh hey Mrs. Jackson I was wondering if I could stay here for the night because I have no where else to go " Maria said.
"Hell no you can't stay here your the reason my daughter acts the way she does so if you think I'm gonna let you stay here child you must be crazy" Mrs. Jackson said with a nasty attitude.
"No I'm not the reason Leah acts the way she does , maybe she acts that way because her mom acts like a bitch 24/7 , you always blame me for Leah's actions when I'm not the one teaching her the stuff she know it's the little girls that live down street from you that teaching her how to act like a slut" Maria said.
"How dare you talk to me like that you little bastard , you are not allowed to talk to , contact or see Leah anymore"Mrs Jackson said.
Before Maria cause say anything else Mrs Jackson slams the door in her face.
Maria then start walking back down the dark street until she comes across a lady standing on her porch in what look like running clothes.
"Hey are you lost ?" A woman asked her.
