Sonic the Hedgehog {X Male Mobian Reader}

- { Prologue } -

SAN FRANCISCO

In the city of San Francisco, had an average day, till there was sounds of faint explosions in the distance. As there was a flying machine that was chasing after two coloured blurs speeding through the city.

The blue blur kept running as the purple blur wasn't so far behind, firing their own flames back towards the shooting drone. Running up a building, then back to the streets.

The two slid to their next turn, trying to get the man off their trail, but to no avail. The Mobian soon stopped with his firing for how the explosions were more closer to the two, and just decided to run along with the hedgehog. Which as they-

"So, I know what you're thinking."

Decided to interrupt the narrator 💢

"You take too long."

"Anyway. Why is that incredibly handsome hedgehog and his flaming friend, being chased by a madman with a mustache from the Civil War?"

Fine... Sonic narrated as the freeze frame has came back to its original state, as the two Mobian's ran through as dodged any traffic in their way, as the purple Mobian began to fire his flames at the doctor, now having a few hits onto his flying drone.

"Well, to be honest, it feels like we've been running our whole life."

"Is this too much? Am I going too fast?"

The hedgehog asks to the audience as the Mobian decided to pop in with the narration... which was supposed to be my job.

"You are actually, and you know what? Why not back this up?"

"Got'cha."

Soon as another laser was shot by the two Mobian's, the mimicking sound of a reverse tape player was heard. As everything has went back, not too long before the Mobian's had came around to the planet Earth.

The scene now reveals an island, which was a beauty to the eye, trails along and over the rivers from below, as a vivid blue blur running through every trail.

"This is the island where I'm from. It had everything. Sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls, public access to loop-de-loops." Sonic explains as the younger version of the hedgehog had ran over a bridge that crumbled behind him, and after speeding up a ramp continuing to run down the trail.

"And, we never had to catch a school bus, because we could run across the entire island in less than two seconds."

"Yet, there was also no school there."

"I know, pretty sweet island, right? And it be more fun if you would run with me, (M/N)."

"But unlike you, I tend to leave a trail of fire behind me. So, I couldn't."

The two spoke, as the young hedgehog rolled up and dashed up to a ramp once again, soon bouncing off the ground walls.

"We were born with extraordinary powers, and were told to keep them secret. And like any kid, I did the opposite... except for (M/N)."

The hedgehog rolled up some path ways to a place where he had past by a younger version of the purple Mobian, who smiled to see his friend came back and then followed him up to where the Owl warrior had taken care of the two Mobian's. As Sonic bumped into the owl soon laughing.

"That's Longclaw. She took care of me, and eventually (M/N) too. She was basically Obi-Wan Kenobi, if Obi-Wan Kenobi had a beak and ate mice."

Longclaw was still lightly shooken by Sonic suddenly waking her up, soon speaking with a soft and yet stern tone. "Sonic, someone could have seen you." She spoke with a taint of concern as (M-Reader) soon came in the hut. (idk if that's the right word) For Sonic to only spoke confidently as for no one saw him.

"No one saw me. I'm too fast!" He says making a running gesture and soon pulling out a sunflower from his quills. "And I wanted to bring you this." Longclaw smiles by the gift, soon reaching out to take it, but soon from behind there was the tribe of Echidna's aiming their arrows towards the tow Mobian's, which she quickly acted. "Get down!"

She shouted quickly covering the two in her wings, shutting the door with her claw, to hear repeating thudding indicating the arrows, soon one was shot through the sunflower that could be seen by the three.

"Turns out, with great power, comes great power-hungry bad guys."

"And I led them right to us."

Longclaw kept the two protectively in her wings from the tribe, (M-Reader) quickly moves one of his hands to hold onto Sonic's, giving a glare towards the Echidnas.

Soon, Longclaw held onto the both of them with her claws, then broke out through the window, attempting to escape by flying away, many arrows was whizzing past them, yet there one arrow has pierced through Longclaw's side, which causes her to stumble down to the ground, but she made sure to keep the two Mobian's safe in her wings.

Despite the pain she feels, she still gotten up from the ground, placing the two back on their feet. "Listen carefully, boys. You both have powers unlike I have ever seen. And that means someone will always want it."

"The only way to stay safe is to stay hidden." Longclaw said in with a stern with a hint of pain in her tone, as she soon grab onto one of the rings and threw it, that shows a portal to somewhere.

"This world is on the far side of the universe. You two should be safe there." Longclaw says as the two Mobian's didn't wanted to leave, especially without her. "I don't wanna go without you." Sonic says as (M-Reader) nodded along with his words. "Yeah, we can't leave you behind." The two Mobian's retract to Longclaw's words of them leaving without her.

"You must." Longclaw says before handing (M-Reader) the satchel of rings. "These rings will your most important possession." A light gasp came from her beak, to see how the tribe of Echidnas are coming closer. (M-Reader) turns his head, his eyes widened, but soon filled up with anger, but looking back to Longclaw. "If you're ever discovered, use one. Never stop running..

Longclaw lightly pushes the two towards the portal with her wing. "And (M/N), I am now passing my responsibility to you. Protect Sonic and make sure neither one of you will ever be harmed in any possible way." (M-Reader)) looks at Longclaw with a solemn expression, before he quickly answers. "I will, Longclaw. I promise you that I will do anything to keep him safe."

"Now go!" (M-Reader) nodded his head as he pulled Sonic to the portal as they soon started to run away, (M-Reader) was too distracted by listening to Longclaw's orders, he soon hears Sonic's voice behind him. "Longclaw!"

(M-Reader) looks back to see Sonic running back to Longclaw, as the portal soon begins to close, he quickly stops and runs back to get Sonic. "Goodbye, my boys." Longclaw says before looking back to the Echidna tribe, preparing to fight them off and off their trail. "No!"

Sonic shouts as he tries to run back to Longclaw, but to only go through the portal as it fades away and disappear. "NO!" Sonic says as he soon stops in his tracks, breathing heavily for how he cannot see Longclaw anymore, and for how he and (M-Reader) were now ran out of their home.

(M-Reader) quickly ran to Sonic's side, looking down to the hedgehog with a solemn expression, as his hand reached out to gently place onto his head, but Sonic quickly turned to (M-Reader) and hugged him tightly. This makes (M-Reader) frown as he went down and hugged him in return,for they both felt sorrow of how they had to leave behind Longclaw.

"Don't worry, Sonic... everything will be fine, as long we're together, nothing bad will happen."

What'cha think? I know it wasn't much at the beginning, it was because my brain was not working at the moment, but do not worry, I am just making it not too dramatically or simple, I'll just do an even amount of the two.
