Prince invited me to Andre's house for a listening session with the guys again, and as my mom dropped me off, I walked up to the house nervously. They enveloped me into their group all summer, and his friends became my friends, too. But this time, me and Prince were going together.

I approached the front door of Andre's house, feeling a sense of nervousness building within me. As I rang the doorbell, my heart beat faster with anticipation. The door swung open, revealing Prince's smiling face, and my nerves dissipated.

"Hey," he said softly, his voice low and soothing. "You look beautiful."

I felt a rush of warmth spread through me at his words, a sense of happiness and contentment settling over me. Together, we walked into the house, the sound of music already filling the air.

As we walked into the living room, I was greeted by the smiling faces of Prince's friends, all of them happy to see me. They welcomed me with open arms, and I felt a sense of comfort and ease settle over me.

We settled onto the couch, Prince's arm draped around my shoulder as I blushed, the rest of the guys watching us. As the music played, we all listened intently, sharing our thoughts and opinions on each track.

It was like being part of a family, a tight-knit group of friends who shared a love of music and good times. And being with Prince made it all the more special, his warm presence making everything feel just a little bit brighter.

"Okay, Jackie," Terry said, nodding towards the turntable. "Your turn."

I nodded, extracting myself from Prince's arm to stand up and walk towards the console, where we all put our records for tonight.

I felt their eyes on me from behind, and I bit my lip as I made my selection. Eventually, I decided, carefully removing the vinyl from its sheath, careful not to scuff it with my polished nails.

I put the 45 on the turntable and dropped the needle, turning to walk back to the couch with a shy smile.

I took my place next to Prince and he smiled softly, slinging his arm over my shoulder again.

I closed my eyes and leaned back, enjoying the music as Roberta sang.

"Strollin' in the park

Watchin' winter turn to spring

Walkin' in the dark

Seein' lovers do their thing

Oo-oo-ooh

That's the time

I feel like makin' love to you

That's the time

I feel like makin' dreams come true"

As the music played, I felt a sense of warmth and happiness spread through me, the lyrics resonating deeply within my heart. I glanced over at Prince, his eyes locked on mine, a soft smile playing at the corners of his lips.

It was like we were in our own little world, lost in the music and each other. And for that moment, nothing else mattered.

I blushed as the song continued, feeling the heat between us as our bodies touched.

"When you talk to me

When you're moanin' sweet and low

When you're touchin' me

And my feelings start to show

In a restaurant

Holdin' hands by candlelight
