**The Weekend**
"Gigi!" my sister Nique yelled from the kitchen.
"Girl, what you want?" I yelled back from my room.
"Momma said you gotta drive me to the fair!" she yelled.
"Girl, no the hell she didn't say that. I'm too damn tired!" I said, walking to the kitchen.
"Ask her, 'cause she said that," she insisted.
"Where she at?" I asked.
"She gone text her," my sister replied, all casual.
*birth mom❤️*
Mommy, you said I had to take Nique to the fair?*
Yes, I'm at work right now.
Can't she leave when you come back? I'm tired, Mommy ☹️
I'm getting off late, please take her, Gigi. She's been asking all week long.
Okay, I guess.
"I really don't feel like taking you, but go get in the car while I grab my keys." I said
"Thank youuuu! I love you!" Nique yelled, running to the door.
***IN THE CAR***
"You linking with Prince?" I asked her.
"Yup!" she said, all happy.
"Mm, that's a bold move, girl, but I guess," I said, shaking my head.
We sat in the car in complete silence, blasting loud music until we got there.
"Alright, Nique, have a fun time! Don't do no stupid shit and text my phone if something happens," I said as she was getting out of my car.
"Okay, love you! Byeee!" she said, leaving all happy and stuff.
When I saw her walk to the gate, she stopped and started talking to the officers. Once they were done, she walked back to my car looking a little sad.
I rolled my window down and said, "Girl, what's wrong?"
"I can't go in there unless I have an adult with me, bro," she said, mad as hell.
"Well, I ain't grown, so what you finna do?" I said, looking at her like she was crazy.
"You can pretend to be grown," she said, looking all sus.
"Girl, no! I don't look grown, and I barely got clothes on" I said.
"Broo, Gigi, pleaseee! Just for this one time!" she begged.
"Alright, let me park this car," I said, sighing.
"Yayyyy!" she cheered, excited as hell.
As I parked, me and my sister started walking to the gate when we heard someone yelling, "Nique! Y'all know you hear me!"
"Who is that?—oh shit, hey Prince!" she said, running to hug him.
"Yoo, what's up, ma?" he said, hugging her back.
I looked over and saw YM behind Prince.
I calmly yelled for my sister to come back. "Nique!"
"What?" she said.
"We going home," I said, turning to walk back to the car.
"Bro, what? Why?" she whined.
"You ain't tell me YM was his homeboy!" I said, quietly yelling.
"Bruuu, I'm sorry! I just didn't want you to say no and ruin this whole thing! Pleaseee!" she whined.
"Hell no! He a murderer!" I said, quietly yelling while trying to pull her away.
"Bro, Gigi, chill. He ain't even gon' worry about me. Prince said he invited one of his lil' hoes to come," she said.
"I don't give a sh*t who—" I started, but then YM and Prince walked up on us.
"Yoo, Gigi, why the hell you ain't stayin'?" Prince asked me.
"'Cause y'all some lil' ass kids," I said.
"Man, you only two years older! Hell, you look like a whole ho with them lil' ass shorts and that short shirt," Prince laughed.
"I wasn't even planning on gettin' out, so shut the hell up before I smack you," I said, annoyed.
"Mann, calm down," Prince said, still chuckling.
***LATER THAT NIGHT***
,On the phone with my bestie Kiara.'
"GIRLLL, YOUR SISTER AND PRINCE JUST POPPED OUT!" Kiara said, shocked.
"Wtf? Send it to me!" I said
"Damn, that's crazy! Oh, and guess who was with them," I said."Who?" Kiara asked.
"The boy who killed Tjay," I said.
"YM? I ain't surprised he and Prince are close as hell," she said.
"Damn, everyone know who he is but me," I said, thinking to myself.
"How you ain't know who he is? He the most known person in ATL," she said.
"B*tch, I don't be in everyone's face like you do—that's why!" I said, laughing as I hung up.
