𝐊𝐀𝐘𝐋𝐄𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐒

Me, Grover, Percy, and Annabeth are walking through the car garage in search of Hermes's vehicle.

"Okay, god of travelers,"

Percy murmurs.

"What kind of car does the god of travelers have?"

Grover giggles slightly.

"Guys, I gotta say, so far, this quest is really exciting."

I look at him.

"Really hoping we find that car."

Grover finishes.

"...Finding the car isn't the quest."

I tell Grover. He looks over at me.

"There's more??"

He asks innocently. Percy sighs.

"Jeez."

He murmurs.

"We'll explain it to you on the way. We're in a bit of a hurry."

Percy tells him. Annabeth and me walk ahead of the two boys.

"We're late?"

Grover inquires. Percy nods.

"Very, very late."

Grover randomly stops walking.

"...Are we late because of me?"

He asks. Percy stops and looks at Grover for a moment before smiling lightly and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay. We're gonna be okay."

Percy takes his hand off of Grover's shoulder.

"Although, I hope that game you were playing was amazing."

Grover chuckles slightly.

"I was hunting for Pan."

"Sounds great."

"No, I mean, like, I actually felt like I was about to find him. That- That I'd be the first. That I'd help save the natural world. It just felt so real."

Grover says.

"Guys!"

Annabeth calls to Percy and Grover. Me and her had found Hermes's car. A cab.

Percy and Grover approach. Percy looks puzzled.

"Hermes drives a... cab?"

He asks to himself.

"And left us a note."

Annabeth adds. Percy looks at her with a slight smug smirk.

"How do we know that's for us?"

Annabeth, completely deadpanned, flips the letter around so Percy can see. The letter reads "To The Dumb Kids."

"Nice."

He says. Annabeth opens the letter to see what's inside.

"Should've known the god of theives noticed his pocket getting picked."

Me, Grover, and Percy step closer to Annabeth so we can see what Hermes wrote.

"Back door to the Underworld, magic word, map in the glove box. And he says we'll become travelers once we're on the road. And then the car will take us wherever we wish to go."
