ELEVEN

"I do question their sanity sometimes."

Mick Schumacher chuckled to himself as he stood beside that of Lewis Hamilton, with the two men watching their group of friends have a competition.

A drawing competition no less.

They could already see some horrific drawings, and they could only wonder what the others were like, their smiles growing every single time that they caught a glimpse of another.

They didn't know why they were chosen as the two judges, it was such a strange pairing to be judges.

Though they both knew that Lando could definitely not be a judge, since he would have instantly taken a bribe from their friends competing.

"Okay, and reveal!"

Lewis raised his hands up in to the air as he clapped, calling the end to the competition, causing everybody to immediately lower their pens and pencils.

The group turned their pieces of paper around in unison, a unified screech of laughter leaving everybody's lips as their eyes fell upon all of the drawings, some of which were terrible.

They had to draw somebody within the world of Formula One drivers and whilst some were very good, others were downright awful.

"Tal, what the fuck is that!"

"What do you mean, what is it? It's Mark Webber! Anybody could see that!"

Tala Villanueva raised her voice both in pitch and volume as multiple sets of eyes fell upon her drawing of Mark Webber.

It was a stick man, thought he seemed to be sitting on something that they wouldn't have known, unless Tala had not drawn an arrow to it with the word Kangaroo, next to it.

Totally not subtle.

"That's a stick man on drugs, it's awful!"

George Russell and Lance Stroll cackled together in unison, their hands shooting to their chests as they wheezed, unable to catch their breath since they were laughing so hard.

"I can draw a stick man perfectly, actually." Tala released a small scoff, rolling the dark of her eyes. "At least I haven't drawn a driver with only one eye and three teeth!"

"It's Daniel! Because he winks and he's always smiling!"

Lando Norris gasped dramatically as he held his drawing within his slim tanned hands, the group continuously laughing at one another drawings.

The drivers that had been drawn would definitely not want to see their self portraits, they were hideous.

Lewis was wincing from the way that Carlos had drawn him, his face being very deformed, though that did have something to do with the fact that Lando had deliberately elbowed him, sending his arm flying across the page of paper.

"Who wins?" The group asked in unison, their faces hopeful and full of competitive spirit, making the two judges laugh, their heads shaking from side to side.

"Lando and Tala are tied for first place."

Lewis laughed, his fingers pinching at the bridge of his nose from the mess of the competition, he didn't even know why Alex had suggested it in the first place.

The two winners screamed as they jumped up and on to their feet, the others simultaneously groaning at having lost, though they could never be mad at seeing Tala so happy.

Her happiness was infectious.

They had been starved of it for so long, that now even the smallest of smiles on her face made them all smile.
