The wires in the generator slipped and slithered about my fingers and I tried to hold them in place. The cold dew from the grass was slowly seaping into my clothes and shoes as I finally got the right currency going into the wires. It was oddly quiet aside from the odd noise coming from the gen as it seemed to be waking from its deep slumber. One would assume that that would be perfect. I would agree, but it was too quiet even for me. No sounds. No yelling or blood curdling screams, or the smaller sounds of grass crunching, or twigs snapping, or dirt being crushed under the pressure of a living being. Just the sound of the generator trying to some back to life. It slowly chugged as I fiddled with some small knobs and lever. Maybe the killer placed an offereing for the generators to be farther apart? Maybe since it would explain the quietness. Or the killer decided to be friendly. Or it was Trapper and he was placing his bear traps everywhere. This would have been nice if my hands weren't clammy and cold from the dew and mist that were dancing everywhere on the ground and air. I was shivering slightly from the chill and the aching feeling that something or someone was watching from the fog and shadows. Shaking my head I made my way to the one side of the generator.
