Chapter 9

Laura's POV

Well what I wanted to ask you is if you wanted to be my girlfriend" he finished saying I smile and nod.
"I would love to be your girlfriend Mikey. Honestly with everything for one second I thought you were going to propose or something." I say laughing going for a hug. He chuckles and hugs me back. I could stay like this all night. He started to play with my hair while I laid my head on his chest and drifted to sleep.

Michael's POV

I wake up to see Laura laying on my chest asleep. The memories from last night come back to me. She said yes to being my girlfriend. With that I smiled. She made me feel like no other person has made me feel before. She has a personality that makes me smile. Shes amazing. Shes funny weird in a good a way and always up for an adventure. I stayed in bed playing with her hair making sure not to wake her up. About an hour past by until Laura finally woke up.
"Morning babe. Did you sleep well?" I ask her planting a kiss on her forehead.
"Ya I did."
She sais getting off of me stretching her arms. Getting up going into her bathroom. I wanted to take her out to breakfast. When she got out of the bathroom I told her to get ready so we could go out to breakfast. I left her room to let her get ready and head to one of the bathrooms downstairs. I brush my teeth go to my suitcase and got out some skinny jeans and a all time low shirt and head to the shower. I quickly showered got changed I head to the kitchen were Harry was making breakfast for Laura's youngest sister Brianna.
"Good morning Brianna did you have fum yesterday" I ask her
" Hi Mikey. I had lots and lots of fun. Are you leaving? " she asked looking sad.
"Oh no no no Brianna me and Laura are going to have breakfast."
"Oh ok. Do you like her?" She asked me and I here Harry chuckle.
"Yes I like her very much. Is it ok if I told you that she's my girlfriend? " she looked up and giggled
"Mikey and Laura sitting on a tree k-I-s-s-i-n-g" I laugh at her and run to her picking her up of the chair .
"Shh your gonna wake everyone up"
"Ok you can be her boyfriend but if you hurt her I will be very mad at you and won't ever listen to your music Ever again."
" ok and don't worry I promise that I will never hurt her" I reassure her
"Pinky promise" she asks holding up her pinky
"Pinky promise"
"Good" she says as I put her down and she ran back to the kitchen. Harry came out of the kitchen wiggling his eyebrows at me
"So you and laura when you ask her?"
"Last night before we fell asleep" I tell him
"Mikey and Laura sitting on a tree k-I-s-s-i-n-g" he repeated what Brianna had chanted earlier
"Shut up mate" I tell him playfully hitting him
I go into the living room and sit on the couch waiting for Laura. About twenty minutes later she came down.
She was wearing a black crop top with black skinny jeans and converse.
"Ready?" I ask standing up
"Ya I just need to see who's up and see if they don't mind watching my sisters while we're gone."
"Harry's in the kitchen with Brianna" I tell her and she walked into the kitchen.

Laura's POV

I walk into the kitchen to see Harry and Brianna eating lucky charms.
"Morning Brianna morning Harry"
"Is Michael your boyfriend? " Brianna asks me which made me blush. I didn't say anything and just nodded
"Uh Harry do you mind watching them while Michael and I go to Breakfast?"
"Sure no problem" Harry answers
"Thanks Harry if anything happens Crystal and the girls have my number so does Niall ok."
"Don't worry love have fun "Harry reassures me
"Thanks" I say hugging him then going over to Brianna hugging her kissing her forehead and telling her to be good for Harry then go back into the living room.
"Ok Mikey lets go" i say jumping on his back so he can give me a piggy back ride to the car. He put me in the passengers seat and insisted to drive.
"Where are we going for food"
"How's Dennys?"
I nod and we start driving. The while time in the car we had the radio playing singing to any song that we knew. In 15 minutes we arrived. We walk out of the car hand in hand. We enter Dennys and I stiffened. I saw William eating at a table with Alfred. Michael seemed to notice me stiffen
"Babe are you alright you seem a little scared what's wrong?" He asked me giving me a worried look
"C-can we p-please leave now " i stuttered. He led me out into the parking lot and we got in the car.
"Babe what happened why were you scared?"
"He was there. I don't want to be any where near him" he gave me a questioning look amd started to comfort me hugging me tracing circles on my back with his thumb telling me comforting words.
"Would you like to go back home" he asked me and I just nodded. The drive home was silent. I didn't realize we where back home until he opened my door and I just held my arms up wanting him to carry me. He carried me closed the door and I opened the front door still in his arms we entered and everyone was in the living room asking what happened why we were back earlier why I was crying. I didn't evem realize I was crying until Brianna pointed it out. She thought Michael hurt me but he promised her he didn't. And carried me upstairs. We got to my room closed the door at set me on my bed. I hadn't stoped crying and he looked hurt not knowing why I was so scared at dennys. He layed down next to me comforting me once again I didn't want him to see me like this. Soon I fell asleep I his arms.

1 hour later

Michaels POV.

The words she told me in the car played in my head over and over again "He was there. I don't want to be any where near him" who was he and why wouldn't she want him near her. What did he do to her. Why was she so scared. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Guys its Crystal. Can I come in".I slowly get of Laura's bed trying not to wake her up and go to the door she looked worried.
"Is she ok what happened to her" she asked quite loud. I tell he to lower he voice and closed the door behind me as we walked downstairs where everyone saw us and stood up.
Is she ok what happened why is she scared. All these questions where coming at me and I didn't have the answers. I sit down and look at everyone.
"Who is he? And why doesn't she want him near her?" I ask them the boys obviously didn't know and I look at the girls
" "Who is he? And why doesn't she want him near her?" I repeat myself.
"William" I hear one of them whisper
"Who?"
"William" both Crystal and Jayne say
"Who is he?"
"He was Lauras ex boyfriend from high school. She got together with him in tenth grade. He hurt her emotionally and It was really bad. He would try to abuse her until one day she couldn't take it anymore she broke up with him. And if she was left alome he would hurt her. She would always have more than one of us with her every where. She was terrified. We ran into him at the mall a while back where we ean away from him and his gang. Which is kinda how we basically met Niall where he helped her. He made sure she was ok and was amazing he protected her from him until he left. " Griselda explained to me. I coukdnt believe it how could someone like Laura be hurt by such an ass.
"Niall" I speak up.
"Ya mate"
"Thank you for helping her out that day" I say gettinf up to hug him
"Mate you don't have to thank me" he said hugging me back
"Yes I di you helped my girlfriend if it wasn't for you she might have gotten hurt." I say letting go.
"Your girlfriend? " everyone except harry and Brianna said
"Uh ya were officially together since last night" I say rubbing the back of my neck.
"I shipped it since I saw you guys bonding the other day at the pool" Louis says as everyone laughed. I just smiled. I had to make sure that Laura felt and knows that me and the boys would make sure all of them are safe.
I head back up stairs to see Laura wasn't in her bed I slightly panic then I her the bathroom sink. I lay down on her bed. She comes out and sees me and slightly smiles.
"Babe its okay. I explained what happened and Griselda explained to me what happened with you and that ass. I want you to feel and know that as long as your my girlfriend me and the boys will make sure nothing happens to you the girls and your family" I tell her embracing her into a hug. She thanks me and I carried her downstairs bridal style. When we made it down I let her walk to where the girls where embracing her into a group hug. We try getting our minds of everything and go to the pool. We stay out back for a good 3 hours and go inside when it started to get dark. We had another movie night and ordered pizza. After three movies everyone fell asleep.
