(Ridah's POV)

"how are you feeling are you okay now ?" Reemah asked looking at me eyes full of concern I'm just happy she's okay and also angry that man escaped. I'm sure he didn't come on his own accord he must have been ordered by the rival clans and of course to take down one of the biggest clan would be an added advantage. Who would know better than me when the rival clans got a wind that the supposed future ruler of the lion clan was born without powers they made me an easy target but luckily master Kang saved me that day since then he took me under his wing, just like the rest, master Kang was very trusted by each of our parents and us being under his wing they were guaranteed our safety and security plus he was our mentor we would learn properly from him on how to manage our powers.

"You have an hour left till your evaluation can you manage?.I can tell master Kang t-" I cutted Nia off.

"No no there's no need for that I'm okay it was just a headache but I'm fine" I grinned, trying to convince her as she eyed me suspiciously but nodded.

"Wait where's fave?" Reemah asked as we looked around that's when she barged into the room breathing heavily "reemah master Kang has called for you quick it's an emergency!" She said gasping for air urgency laced in her voice as she plopped on the couch next to me "why what's wrong?" Reemah asked with furrowed brows "we have a new intake and she has gone wild" she said, "she has fire powers and she's smoking the whole place I wanted to get her but-" she paused "do you know that expression that says fight fire with fire" she Chuckled "it does not work"

"So wheres master Kang now ?"Nia asked, "he's in the out door training section" fave said "well what are you waiting for?!!" Fave exclaimed as reemah dashed out the door.

"I wonder if we should tell master Kang about the attack" I said glancing at Nia who looked like she was also thinking "I think we should it's necessary if it hadn't been for your quick response heavens knows what could have happened" Nia sighed.

"she's getting closer to claiming that crown, I wonder which of the clans would want her gone they know better than to mess with the wolf clan" fave said and we stayed in airy silence untill fave spoke she tilted her head towards me in confusion "Ridah how did you know he was going to attack her?" She asked, and Nia nodded also interested in knowing I shifted in my seat to make myself comfortable and I looked at them. "well I caught him staring at her then one thing let to another and I could read his mind" I said staring back and forth at them who had wide eyes.

"telepathy?" Nia mouthed, and I nodded as their eyes widened before breaking into a wide grin.

"That's so cool!" Fave excalimed as she jumped right in front of me her hair glowing a vibrant yellow almost blinding my eyes "Seriously can't you tone it down!" I groaned as she rolled her eyes at me as her hair dimmed down a bit "thank you" I sighed as she looked back at me with full interest.

"What am I thinking?" She grinned excitedly as she wanted to put my powers to the test "I don't know" I answered boredly, honestly I didn't it's like it comes and goes, she rolled her eyes at me.

"She just got her powers of course it would get wonky" Nia said and smacked fave from behind that was when reemah came barging in with smoke on her wolf ears and body covered in Ash "what happened to you?" We snickered as she sent us a glare "fire girl Happened!" she said boredly, "Nia master needs you" she said and nia's eyes widened me and fave Chuckled at her as she whined,

"what is it ?" She asked lips forming a pout as reemah just rolled her eyes "we already tamed her down but we need you to neutralize her powers" she said as Nia rolled her eyes with a groan as she stomped out of the room, sometimes I felt bad for them since they had powers they had alot of work and responsibilities and sometimes they went on really cool-sick missions, I only get to hear about them but I've never been a part of It, i was outside looking in, it would be a lie if I said it didn't make me feel worthless I felt that way every single day I was haunted by the fact I was incapable and underserving of my title therefor putting the clan to shame.
