Micheal POV
[YOU'RE DEAD]
[Rebooting...]
I blinked my optical sensors, the dim space brightly illuminated by an eerily yellow light. A warning flashed in my face, and I looked down, seeing my foot was just barely touching the yellow liquid, and it was melting off. "Gah!" I scrambled away, sitting on a metallic yet squishy surface, which was just barely sticking out of the acidic surface of yellow. "Guess that's acid then." I stood up, looking around. The tight space was no bigger than a guest bedroom, and the ceiling stretched maybe ten feet high, at least from my size ratio. I deployed my assault rifle and shot at one of the stretchy walls, but the bullets simply ricocheted off and into the acid. I looked up, seeing a small trapdoor that I'd likely fallen through on my way into this hell. I flew up and tried to pry it open, but to no avail. I deployed a crowbar I didn't even know I had in this body, and tried to wedge it open, only for the wedge tool to break off, leaving me with an unusable rod of metal. I growled in frustration at the helplessness of my situation.
"OY!" I shouted, doubting that the drone would even hear me. "LET ME OUT OF HERE!" I heard my shouts echo around me, but nothing happened. "Fucking little..." I looked around, seeing a small port in one of the tight walls of my prison. I flew over, and pushed it open with ease. Inside I could see a number of internal machinery; An oil pump, air filters, an oil filter, and a number of pistons and other equipment to keep this thing going. I squeezed out through the tiny opening, accidentally falling onto a piston unit attached to the side of the drone's 'stomach.' I shuddered, visualizing what it would've looked like if I'd still been inside when that thing activated...I looked up, seeing a bit of light shining through a triangular hole. I flew up, peering through the thick glass. I could see parts of the city flashing by rapidly, and I came to the conclusion that the Disassembly Drone was flying through the air. The drone suddenly swooped down, right towards a purple glint. 'Horrified.jpg' ran, and I glanced around, looking for a way out when-I spotted a small USB port, and I examined my thumb, where a small USB stick ejected from my middle finger. "Heh, genius."
Uzi POV
I ran through the street, that sickening scene of Micheal being eaten alive while he tried to save me! Of all people! I shook my head and sprinted forward again, towards the bright floodlights of the bunker doors that meant safety, only to suddenly hear air whooshing behind me. I ducked, and a Disassembly Drone crashed down in front of me. "Well, well, well, what do we have here." I tried to grab the shotgun, only for the drone to grab it and bite clean through it, reducing it to useless scrap metal. She then reached stretched her arm forward straight at my neck, and I braced for teeth tearing through my limbs...But nothing happened? I looked up, seeing her yellow visor glitching to green and then back to yellow. "W-What the h-h-h-hell..." She powered off, in a slumped over stance, before her visor suddenly turned back on, this time green eyes scanning around. "S-S-Stupid firewalls, no matter-Oh, hey Uzi!" I heard Micheal's voice. "You're alive?! But how!" "Turns out the stomach of Disassembly Drones have escape hatches! Good to know." He suddenly glared upward.
I followed his gaze upward, seeing the two other drones swooping in. "Go Uzi, I'll hold them off." I nodded, running towards the blast doors.
Micheal POV
I readied my blade, admiring the sharpness and longevity of it. Such a lethal weapon, and all the better to stop these homicidal maniacs with. "V! Why'd you stop?!" I slowly turned around, entering a fighting stance. "Sorry, V isn't here right now." I took advantage of 'J's confusion and slashed at her, though she quickly brought up a blade of her own. "You freak! Get out of my coworkers body!" I chuckled darkly. "Sorry, can't really do that at the moment. I don't know how!" I grabbed the one named N, and lobbed him into her body, causing them both to spiral into the air. "N! Get off of me you useless idiot!" "Sorry boss!" I flew up, dropkicking N into a refrigerator, suddenly being tackled midflight by J. I parried her blade and glared back at her. "N! Go get that purple thing!" "Got it boss!"
I deployed a grenade launcher and hit N square in the chest, knocking him out of his dive and making him disappear into a cloud of snow. "You aren't getting to her if it's the last thing you do!" I aimed the particle blaster upwards, setting it to 'Enlargen' and transferring my conscious back to my own, tiny body, breaking through the tiny glass pane and throwing myself into the beam. Several warning flashed in my visor, but I ignored them, quickly swooping up and aiming my rifle at her, the green laser landing right on her core. "Hope you like dairy products!" I said, turning her torso into Swiss cheese. I subconsciously loaded a new magazine in, turning my attention to N, who was being held down by Uzi and her railgun. "B-But-" "They never taught y'all how to land remember?! They've already disposed of you, think about it!"
I listened to the arguing going on and on. 'Damn she sure is motivated I guess.' I hoisted an offline V over my shoulder, quickly slapping some handcuffs on her. "Well...Oh..." I could hear the sound of realization in N's voice as it finally seemed to dawn on him. "Listen man." I stooped down, my face directly in front of his. "I'd much rather have a friend than another enemy." "B-But I can't go against company policy, they'd fire me for sure!" I scoffed. "You all don't have a single clue do you?" I saw N run 'confusion.jpg,' and I shook my head. "Earth is gone. The core was destroyed. The only people that would fire you are your...apparent boss, but I think she'll agree with me when I tell her your superiors are dead." I saw N look down, and I offered a hand. "What do you say, friends?" N had a loading logo in the corner of his visor for a second, before he reached up and grasped my hand. "Friends."
AN: HA! Suck on that JCJenson! Sorry guys, they just really suck XD
