Ciyan was excited to meet the mercenaries. He reached out to open the curtain of the tent door, but before he could touch it, the curtain was suddenly pulled back by one of the mercenaries. The man was huge compared to Ciyan's small, teenage frame. Ciyan looked up, noticing the man's long blue hair styled like a scorpion's tail, but the rest of his features were hidden by heavy gear and a mask. The man didn't say a word, just stared at Ciyan with an intense gaze that seemed to penetrate through his skin.
There was a brief, tense silence before Ciyan spoke up. "Captain Mitéra Thalassiní sent me to see if you needed anything." The man still didn't budge or respond, leaving Ciyan unsure of what to do. Then, a voice came from behind the large man, accompanied by a hand on his shoulder, gesturing for him to step aside.
"Don't mind Scorpion over there. You know, he's just being cautious in a new place. Come on in," said another mercenary, even bigger than the first. Ciyan couldn't make out any distinct features except for the man's reddish eyes, which seemed to glow with a strange intensity. Amazed by how cool these mercenaries looked, Ciyan walked into the tent.
"Is this the person who's going to heal us?" a cheerful voice mocked from the back.
Scorpion made a series of hand signs that Ciyan couldn't understand, but the other mercenary laughed.
"Right, she's much smaller than I expected. Can a doctor even have a degree at this age?" a female voice chimed in, followed by more mocking comments from the group.
"Silence!" A stern voice cut through the chatter, and everyone fell quiet. Ciyan immediately recognized the voice as belonging to the leader.
"This must be the leader," Ciyan thought to himself.
"Introduce yourself, child. Who are you?" the stern voice demanded.
"I'm Seena, and I'm here to heal you today using my magical healing powers. At your service," Ciyan said, bowing mockingly.
The leader turned around calmly, then suddenly slammed a table down in anger. "Are they making fun of us or something?" he shouted.
Ciyan, unfazed by the outburst, smirked. "No, they aren't. Look." He grabbed a small knife from the table and slashed his own arm. A second later, the wound healed completely, leaving no trace. The mercenaries watched in astonishment, realizing that Ciyan's claims were true.
Scorpion grabbed Ciyan's arm, pulling it close to his face to examine it. He noted that there was no sign of a scam.
"They really are magical, huh, Wrath?" the female voice said, smiling as she looked at the leader.
"Shadow, silence," Wrath commanded, kneeling down in front of Ciyan. "How does it work, exactly?" he asked, looking Ciyan dead in the eyes.
"Well, you have to consume fluids from my body. That's why I brought some blood with me, just in case the sickness or injury is severe," Ciyan explained, pulling a small bottle of blood from his bag.
