A eleven year old Itachi laughed at the story his fourteen year old cousin gave as they walked along the road of Uchiha district with Izumi. Today was one the rare days off they all had, so they decided to hangout. Well Shisui and Itachi had planned to hangout, they just happened to run into Izumi turning it into a hangout of three of them.

"How did you even manage to do that?" Itachi asked and Shisui rubbed the back of his neck.

"I wasn't trying to honestly, the bucket just happened to be behind me. I just hate the fact that I didn't realize I stepped in until my mom was yelling at me for dragging a paint trail into the living room." The fourteen sheepishly admitted, making Itachi laugh again. "Glad that at least you find it funny." He remarked and Itachi smiled warmly at him, Izumi could only watch them in envy.

He never smiles that way with me. Could Itachi like...no way. There's no way he could, I just being stupid. I just have to try harder. She nodded with determination which Shisui noticed, smirking to himself.

Yeah, he knew. He knew Izumi has a crush on Itachi. Everyone knew she had a crush on Itachi, except for Itachi. Honestly, it was like he was oblivious and the fourteen year old couldn't help but feel bad for the poor girl.

Maybe I should help her out? Who knows maybe he likes her back? "Hey, I just remembered that I got to meet up with my team." Shisui said and Itachi deflated a bit.

"Really, I thought you had the day off?" He asked, saddened because he knew his cousin was about to leave, and the fourteen year old nodded.

"Yeah well, I forgot to we were planning to meet up for some bonding. So I'll see you later, Itachi. Izumi." Shisui winked at her, confusing both her and Itachi but Shisui was gone before they question it.

"That was weird." Izumi nodded along with Itachi's comment before she realized that now it was just them two alone. Is Shisui rooting for me? Wow, I'll do my best then. She blushed at the thought, which got Itachi's attention.

Why is she blushing? Could it because of Shisui? Does she like him? Does he like her? Is that why he winked at her? Itachi frowned, he didn't like the idea of his cousin liking Izumi. He didn't like the idea of Shisui liking anyone. But I don't know why that bothers me so much.

"Itachi." The eleven year old snapped out his thoughts as Izumi grabbed his hand. "You want to get some dango?" She asked and Itachi nodded, the two making their way to shop for their favorite treat.

Not aware that Shisui was right behind him. He couldn't help it but spy on the "two" lovebirds, hoping to get some dirt to tease his adorable cousin about later. The fourteen chuckled to himself, being sure to hide among the trees as he watched Itachi and Izumi reach the lake they would always frequent.

After a few minutes, Izumi started making a few loving glances at Itachi, the eleven year just being enjoying the warm silence. Come on, Izumi. You can do this it's now or never. "Hey Itachi." The eleven year old looked at her.

"Yeah?" The brunette took a deep breath.

"Do you like me?" The eleven year old raven tilted his head in confusion, why was she asking him that?

"What do you mean? Of course I like you." Izumi gaped at the eleven year old words.

"R-really?" Itachi smiled at her.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I? You're smart. You're a great shinobi. You're kind. You're fun to be around. What's not to like?" Izumi blushed.

"I'm so glad you feel that way about me."
