Introduction: Los Angeles

"It's a small world after all..."

The water sat still below us, and the entire ride has gone dark with only the music continuously playing over and over again and the backup lights giving barely any vision...

In less than a few minutes, we heard thousands of people screaming and crying for help.

The screaming echoed throughout the dark building and people splashing in the water trying to get out of the ride.

What was going on out there?

- Before the Outbreak -

My name is Jennifer. I used to live in Canada but recently moved to Los Angeles, California after graduating. I live on my own in a small house with my two dogs, Karma and Nova. They've been keeping my company ever since they were puppies, when I first found them in a box at my doorstep one night. I guess you could say it was love at first sight.

Anyway, I decided to live here recently since I heard there were job opportunities around here for me. Of course it was pretty exciting to live where popular and famous people live. Not to mention, "the happiest place on earth" isn't that far away from my house. My friends promised to take me there tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to and it'll be my first time going. I could really get used to living here for awhile, everything's been going the way they're supposed to be and I hope it stays this way.

I was no ordinary girl, my father taught me how to fight, for self defense of course, and I was told that I was very like my dad who was now retired from the Army.

I also have a best friend, named Angela, who also knew how to fight and she was known as the badass before when we went to school. She had red hair with side bangs and always wore eyeliner. The right side of her hair was shaved which people found her intimidating especially because the attitude she gives when she doesn't like someone. She's actually a nice girl if you got to know her well. We met when she was a new student in a class we had to sit together.

Next, Cameron. He is one of my closest guy friends because I grew up with him as a child. He had brown hair and also brown eyes. People always found him attractive at my school especially because of his sweet personality and perfect smile. He moved to Los Angeles after he started to be pretty popular over social media and soon became a pretty famous guy after that. I was finally going to see him after all these years.

Lastly, Evan. I met him when I was at the airport after we bumped into each other when we were both heading for the same flight. We started talking more and it didn't take long to become good friends. I was pretty glad met him or I probably would've ended up getting lost in the big city. He was from Canada too, but was supposed to come to Los Angeles to visit a friend, then ended moving here. I later on realized he knew Cameron after being into the social media community for awhile and glad to hear I didn't need to introduce them to each other.

Most of my friends but Angela, have been living here in Los Angeles for awhile now and they already knew most of the city by heart. Angela was on her way to my house for tomorrow when they take would me to that wonderful place called DisneyLand. I was really excited to go that I made sure I had my whole outfit picked out that night.

Ding dong! I ran up to the door to find Angela and a guy was at the door with her.
"Hey! You're here early! Who's your friend here?" I helped with their bags and set them aside in front of the guest room door.

"Yeah, we beat the traffic and made sure we left early. This is Rick, my boyfriend. " She smiled and stepped inside closing the door behind her.

"Nice to meet you.. Uh.." He looked at me hoping i knew he didn't know my name yet

"The names Jennifer" I smiled

"Ah, okay well nice to meet you Jennifer" he smiled back and we shook hands

Nova came around the corner barking and jumping in excitement following behind was Karma.
"Is it just me or is he such a big dog now?!" She knelt down petting him as he wagged his tail in happiness while Karma was busy greeting Rick.

"I think its both, oh by the way, you and Rick have to share that room together" I replied laughing and putting her bags in the guest room with his nearby.

"I'm okay with that" Angela laughed looking at Rick as he smiled back. Later, she settled in and got out her stuff. I helped her pick an outfit for tomorrow while Rick decided to head to sleep early. Of course, Angela was planning to wear her usual dark colored clothing.

We watched a movie until it got late and headed to our rooms to sleep. I have a feeling we're going to have a blast tomorrow I can't wait to go!

"Night Angela, See you in the morning!" I happily walked to my room while Angela went into the guest room where Rick was sleeping.

I got into my sleeping clothes and jumped into bed, sliding into the blankets getting comfy for a good night sleep. Tomorrows going to be a good day, I can feel it already.
