-2 hours to sunrise-
"Jennifer, Wake up." Cameron gently shook me.
"Huh? What's wrong?" I said with a sleepy tone confused.
"There's something going on in this city and whatever it is, it's spreading fast. We won't make it out of here on time.. Theres too many cars." He replied
Many cars were honking at each other impatiently as the traffic seemed to get worse and worse by the second. We were near a forest when suddenly people were screaming and running out of their cars in panic.
"Whats going on?" Angela looked around seeing people running up the freeway."Looks like we're not going anywhere anytime soon." Cameron let go of the steering wheel and ran his hands through his head.
*Incoming call from: Evan!¡!*
E: Hey do you know what's goin on out there??
: No, not at all. Just stay in your car until we can figure out whats happening.
E: Alright, stay safe.
: You too

"They're coming! Run while you can!" Someone yelled out as he tried to get through the crowd.
It took an hour or two for the crowd to finally calm down, but the sun was finally starting to rise.
Little did we know, it was the beginning of an apocalypse.
----
People were still running, abandoning their cars, getting separated from their families, people getting trampled, just an entire disaster.
A person was slowly making their way down the freeway, but they looked out of the ordinary. They were covered in blood and their skin was the pale with torn clothes.
"I'm going to help them." I unbuckled my seatbelt getting ready to leave the car but I stopped by Cameron.
"Don't! Let them pass. I don't trust them.. Something seems off." He held on to my shoulder as we watched a complete stranger go up to the strange person.
"Hey man you alright?" The stranger asked whatever that thing was.
It looked up at them and immediately leaped at them knocking them to the ground.
"Help! Somebody! Please!" They yelled out as he was bit and blood gushed out of his arm. He yelled out in pain crying for help until he went silent. The thing slowly stood back up and began to walk our direction once again.
The stranger who was bit soon stood up and looked exactly like the weird thing that bit him and followed the thing."Shit, we need to hide!" Rick quietly yelled out.
"Use your jackets to cover the windows. Hurry!" Angela took off her jacket and covered the window next to her. Rick did the same as well as Cameron and I.
They used the bags to cover the back and we used the windshield cover to hide the front. We sat quietly peeking through a small hole at times as they drew closer and closer. They were passing Evans car soon but he didn't seem to realize he needed to hide. Crap.
