On their way to snowbelle city , our heroes had a run in with their friend Sawyer, a young trainer who admires Ash. both the trainers wasted no time to test each other in a pokemon battle
                              ……..

“Alright greninja! Are you ready to go?” the raven haired teen asked and tilted his head to the side to peer over at the ninja frog pokemon.

“Gren” the blue ninja frog pokemon affirmed and leaped into the air , doing a somersault mid-air ,before finally landing on its webbed feet in front of his opponent .  

“Alright! Its a pokemon battle between Ash’s greninja and Sawyer’s sceptile, are both trainers ready? Then battle began!“ clemont standing on the side of the battlefield, posing as a referee gave the indication.

A sweat bead rolled down the green haired rookie trainer’s forehead , his brows furrowed together in concentration ‘here we go! This time i’ll beat you in a battle ash, it’ll be proof I’ve become a full fledged trainer’

“You ready sceptile? Leaf blade lets go!” sawyer commanded his pokemon starter, his eyes trained on the battlefield, giving it his undivided attention.

“ tiiiiile!” with a battle cry ,Sceptile leaped into the air , the leaves on his elbows shining a bright green as they turned into sharp blades, ready to attack the blue frog pokemon at his trainer’s command

“Greninja! counter it with Aerial ace!” ash hollered at greninja, his pokemon simultaneously leaped into the air , its legs glowing a soft baby blue colour and the two attacks collided making both the pokemon leap back to the ground with the force of their attacks , without a sec of delay both greninja and sceptile moved with intense speed and fired a series of powerpacked kicks and leaf blades at each other

“ sceptile! Use Bullet seed!” sawyer commanded , his fingers clenched into a tight fist.

“Scep, sceptilee!” sceptile was quick to obey its trainer, its head tilted back a little before he opened its mouth and fired a series of bullet seeds towards greninja

the bullet seeds whizzed through the air like rapid-fire projectiles, aimed straight at Greninja.

“Sawyer is strong” Clemont muttered to himself, his eyes glued to the intense battle unfolding before him.

Ash smirked, the excitement of the battle clear on his face. "Greninja, dodge it and use Water Shuriken!"

Greninja instantly darted to the side, moving with a blur-like speed as the Bullet Seed attack narrowly missed him. The ninja frog swiftly crossed its arms, summoning a glowing, spinning shuriken of water. With a swift flick of its wrist, Greninja hurled the Water Shuriken toward Sceptile.

“Sceptile, dodge and use Leaf Storm!” Sawyer shouted.

Sceptile gracefully evaded the incoming Water Shuriken with a powerful leap, twisting mid-air. Upon landing, it spun its body, creating a violent storm of razor-sharp leaves that shot towards Greninja at high speed.

“Greninja, don’t let up! Cut through with Night Slash!”

Greninja’s eyes narrowed with focus, and its arms glowed a menacing purple. In one swift motion, Greninja slashed through the oncoming Leaf Storm, dispersing the leaves as if they were nothing more than confetti in the wind.

“Unreal… He countered it so easily!” Sawyer gritted his teeth, but his determination didn’t waver.

Both trainers stood with fierce intensity, their connection to their Pokémon shining in every move. Sawyer clenched his fist again, eyes locked on Ash.
