~Prologue~

y/n Black is a new teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry she meets someone who she never expects to fall for. She has her own little secret but as does her lover. y/n has a brother who was put behind bars twelve years ago. Sirius Black. Her other brother Regulus disappeared years ago.

You arrive at Hogsmeade Train Station and you can see the steam from the Hogwarts Express in the distance. You know where Hogwarts is but you never went. Your brother Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor and your mother didn't want to risk sending you there in case you were sorted into Gryffindor as well. so, instead, your mother taught you everything you know with Sirius pitching in now and again teaching you things he learnt at Hogwarts. You always enjoyed your lessons with your older brother but sometimes he could be a bit of a dick. So when you heard that there was a spot open to teach at Hogwarts, you jumped at the chance to teach at your brothers school.

As you walked through the door Minerva McGonagall was stood there next to Albus Dumbledore smiling at you. You collect your bags and walk towards them both. "Hello my dear. Welcome to Hogwarts." McGonagall says to you as you walk up the steps. Albus nods and smiles at you as McGonagall walks you to your room for the school year. "So, you will be teaching charms in my classroom. I have another one that I will be teaching transfiguration in." McGonagall says as you place your bags on the bed. "You will receive your timetable tomorrow morning at breakfast via owl. If you have any questions, please ask myself or Professor Dumbledore." You open your bag and start to fill draws but before McGonagall can leave, you ask her if there are any other new teachers starting this year. "Professor Remus Lupin will be starting alongside you teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts. I'm sure you two will get along swimmingly. Goodbye now!" You stare as she walks off. 

You find a set of robes in your bag and decide to change for the sorting ceremony and Start of the Year feast. You out them on and write an owl for your brother Sirius who is in Azkaban prison. Little did you know that he had escaped and you had been writing him letters every day for the past three days and they hadn't been getting to him.
