Summer Is Coming

2 WEEKS LATER....

*RUMBLES*BANG*

I jumped in my bed at the loud ass thundering outside. One thing I was NEVER going to get use to in Texas was the random storms from out of no where! I was watching tv and drinking wine in my room trying to relax but all I thought about was Kailee. She was over East's and I was worried to death about how she scared she might be because of the storm.

I walk over to Momma B's room and she was knocked the fuck out snoring loud as hell. She said rain and storms is when she gets her best sleep and she wasn't lying. I smack my lips closing her door because I wanted her to call East to check up on Kailee.

I pour myself another glass in the kitchen arguing with myself.

Jace: Ugh I don't want to call him, but it's not about what you want it's about you checking up on your child. I dont wanna hear his stupid ass voice "Hey lil girl" "Watchu want lil girl" UGH.

I scrunch my face up while doing a man voice mocking East.

Jace: Jace grow the fuck up you a grown ass woman. Call to see about your baby.

I take a deep breath going to my block contacts and unblock East. I roll my eyes hard as fuck clicking on the call button. It picks up after the first 2 rings.

East: Wassup lil girl

I roll my eyes.

Jace: How's Kailee?

East: She's fine. She was a little scared when it first start storming but I made her some hot chocolate & we made a fort in the living room watchin scary movies.

My heart skips a beat with my mind instantly going to when I first met East and we were all stuck in that cabin & we watched scary movies in his room.

Jace: Can I talk to her?

He hands the phone over.

Kailee: Hi mommy.

I instantly smile.

Jace: Hey baby! You good over there!?

Kailee: Yes! Me and daddy are watching Chucky.

I laugh.

Jace: Okay I'll let you finish having fun okay?

Kailee: Okay! Love you!

Jace: Love you more.

I heard the phone shuffle.

East: You alright over there?

Jace: Yeah..yeah I'm good. Y'all have a goodnight.

I hang up before he could say anything.

I jump again spilling some of my wine on the counter.

Jace: Fuck!

I whisper. That scared the shit outta me.

Deleon runs across my mind, we haven't really talked since the nightclub. I tried to not think about him because everytime I did the little girl in me came out and I would feel all giddy. I tried to stop myself. I pick up my phone and go immediately to his name. I call and it picks up mid first ring.
