Ashlyn's POV;
This morning I woke up to Taylor nudging me awake "Ashlyn?" I groaned and yawned while sitting up from my bed "Hm?" I asked "Happy birthday, here!" She put down a breakfast meal on my lap with my blanket still wrapped around me "Thanks!" I smiled looking at how cutely she decorated the breakfast "Eat up, I'll be downstairs" she smiled as she left my room I leaned over my bed to my nightstand and took my phone to check it
"it's 9 am, I guess I better hurry!" I quickly stuffed my mouth with breakfast and went to the bathroom to freshen up and found a sticky note on the bathroom mirror and birthday balloons surrounding the sink

"Happy birthday Ashlyn, you're the best friend I could ever ask for! I'll always appreciate you! Have a great birthday!" Logan-

"That's sweet!" I smiled putting the note away in a book and getting ready for the day I got out of the bathroom and headed to my room to do my hair I was kinda struggling to do my hair but then Tyler knocked on my door "Come in" "Carrot top" "mhm?" "Imagine not being able to do your hair," he said looking at me struggling in the mirror "Imagine falling into a tree like a kebab stick" "Alright lemme help you now" he grabbed a brush and some hair accessories "Oh, and uh, happy birthday.!" Oh well, at least he said it that was enough for me he braided one part on top of my hair and secured it with a green bow then he curled up the bottom of my hair and he was finished "done." "Thanks, I think it's adorable.!" Then someone yelled his name from downstairs a yell that sounded like Taylor "Alright I'll be downstairs if you need me" he headed downstairs to see Taylor

I was getting dressed and heard loud commotion I walked downstairs to see what all the noise was about but on the way I was stopped by Ben tapping my shoulder and then writing something on his phone "Happy birthday Ashlyn, I made you something." A lot of people were noticing my birthday today it was usually just mom and dad so I wasn't very used to this "Thanks! What is it?" I asked Ben and he went on Spotify and pointed to a playlist he made for me with headphones "damn, thanks!" I chuckled he smiled and headed downstairs I put the gifts in my room and then walked downstairs and heard the commotion

"I told you it wouldn't fit!" I heard Tyler yell
"what's going on?" I asked opening the front door "Nothing!" Aiden quickly exclaimed while both he and Taylor were covering a truck "Were we too loud?" Aiden asked "A bit but you guys are acting weird.." I was trying to see what they were hiding behind the truck

"Oh! Happy birthday Ashlyn!" Logan said noticing me "Thanks!" "Hold on" he pulled out a dog cage "I heard you liked dogs!" He let the puppy free in my arms "Have a good birthday and take care of him!" Thanks a lot, Logan! Thanks to all of you, I didn't think you'd all remember it!" We laughed "But for real tho what are you guys hiding?" Before I could finish my sentence Tyler quickly cut to the chase and pulled me to the house he whispered something to Taylor and Logan and ran into the van with Ben and, Aiden it wasn't the fact that they were hiding something from me on my birthday that annoyed me it was just I was expecting a happy birthday or something from Aiden but I thought he'd just say something later

As time went on I spent most of my time with Taylor then she said to get dressed since we'd be going somewhere the whole time I was with Taylor I was paying much attention my attention was Aiden I assumed I was just overthinking too much I put on a black dress with a green sweater shrug, tights, my black boots then I braided my hair with a black bow at the end I felt as if something as missing tho I looked at my nightstand table and saw my sbg bracelet perfect finishing touch and headed out "Taylor! I'm ready!" I shouted, "I'm at the front door!" I rushed downstairs

"they're camping outside the bus waiting for you!" "Okay." We were walking and Aiden came out of nowhere and appeared right behind me "Ashlyn!" I flinched "Startled?" "oh my god, Aiden." "Haha, well I have something to show you come with me." Great I just managed to forget about him and now he's back the fact that he saw me the second time and also hadn't said a thing?? It was my 16th birthday did he just erase his memory? This was pissing me off. I honestly didn't really wanna know what he had to show me I just wanted to hear two words come out of his mouth but he had already grabbed my hand and Taylor was signaling me to follow I just did not know why

"you seem a bit down you alright, Ashlyn?" "Mhm.." I nodded weakly we ran to his house and jumped over the fence "Where are we going?" "You'll see soon" Where is this man taking me.. we went to his room and he took rubiks out of his bag took my hand again and ran as if I wasn't already out of breath "Why the hell would you bring me here for a Rubik's cube??" I questioned him but he ignored me and kept running I couldn't say more since I was breathless at the moment

we arrived there was a big cloth covering something and the truck this morning was also here in the bus graveyard "Wait right here!" Aiden said what was actual fuck is happening right now? I noticed Taylor was holding up a camera recording and taking pictures Aiden grabbed the Rubik's cube we got from his house and told Tyler to drop the big cloth which revealed a big portrait of me and a happy birthday above me but one Rubik's cube was missing in the middle he placed the Rubik's cube in the missing spot and yelled "happy birthday, Ashlyn!" From up the ladder, he climbed "Omg wow!!" I yelled back and I took a few steps forward chuckling and slightly blushing that was very sweet he climbed down the ladder gave me one of the biggest hugs and whispered in my ear "Sorry, I hadn't told you happy birthday all day. I love you!" I smiled "I love you too!"

Logan gathered candles a cake knife and a lighter "Come on love birds!" Logan yelled and everyone gathered around him we quickly headed over there like nothing happened gladly only Logan had seen us hugging everyone sat down in a chair and Ben handed me a lighter I lit the candle with the lighter and everyone started to sing Happy Birthday when they finished Aiden yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ASHLYN BANNER!!" I laughed at his comment and wished a quick birthday wish before blowing the candles out

everyone was laughing and clapping and Tyler and Aiden just appeared behind me "You should take a bite of the cake birthday girl!" Tyler said Aiden nodded Aiden saying that was probably normal Tyler. Not so much so I looked at him suspiciously before taking a tiny bite of the cake but before I could Tyler was quick to grab the back of my head while Aiden did the same and smashed it into the cake "TYLER!" Taylor yelled and Ben watched as they both ran off into the house Logan waiting for them at the door "Go Go Go!" Logan said hurriedly closing the door to the house "Ashlyn??" Taylor said to me my parents looking at my cake-covered face I took a handful of cake and ran into the house "Wait no Ashlyn-" They heard the screams of the boys in the house being covered with cake

(I'm back guys, I know I haven't been uploading much recently because of school work and, side jobs but, I try to upload something every 1 - 2 weeks. I haven't quit I don't plan on quitting making Aidlyn stories anytime soon. I just wouldn't be uploading as much, anyway that's all! I'm still here but, cya for now pooks! 🧸)
