Aiden's POV;
I haven't eaten in days, and there's
nothing in the fridge. I could order
something, but I feel a bit lonely. Ben
was out with Taylor, and my parents were working. I sighed and realized that Ashlyn was still at home. I decided to go over to her place, so I quickly put on a hoodie and ran over.

Ashlyn's POV;
I heard a loud bang on my window and immediately recognized the familiar sound It was Aiden Clark, sneaking over to my house as he often did. Without hesitation, I went to the window and opened it. "You could've texted," I began, but before I could finish, Aiden had already jumped in and wrapped his arms around my waist excitedly. "Ashy!" he exclaimed. "Yeah, yeah, I'm here. Why didn't you text me?" I asked. "I thought I'd surprise you," Aiden replied, getting up and offering his hand. "What a surprise!" I responded, my tone dripping with sarcasm. "You finished the homework?" Aiden asked. "Mhm, it's on the table. You can copy it if you want," "Thanks!" Aiden walked over to my desk, took a look at my work, and sat down. He then asked me a question about the homework, which I leaned over to help him with. "And then you have it!" I explained. Aiden looked at me for a moment, and I felt a bit awkward. "Wow, I didn't know you were that interested in mathematics," Aiden giggled, turning his head slightly away from me. "Logan tutored me," I mentioned. At that moment, Aiden's stomach let out a loud growl. "Aiden, have you eaten?" I asked, concerned. "Um.. yes," Aiden hesitated, avoiding eye contact. "Please don't lie to me, Aiden. I want to make sure you're healthy," I pressed. Aiden remained silent, his eyes downcast. "Are you hungry?" I asked. "Mhm," Aiden mumbled. I extended her hand, and Aiden took it as I led him downstairs to the kitchen.

Aiden's POV;
I've been starving for days and I think Ashlyn could tell because she asked me if I'd eaten "Um.. yes." I felt my stomach growl but I ignored it she turned my head to face her and asked me "Please don't lie to me Aiden, I wanna make sure you're healthy" I didn't know what to say back I hadn't had someone tell me this in a while so I didn't know how to respond for one of the first times ever I was speechless I just avoided eye contact "are you hungry?" She asked considerately "Mhm" was all I managed to mumble and she offered me her hand to the kitchen and told me to fetch the macaroni from the pantry I did as she asked and she boiled a pot of water she dumped in some of the macaroni and stirred it I wanted to help but I didn't know how. I didn't like feeling like this so I asked to help her "Can I help?" "Sure!" She replied

Ashlyn's POV;
While the macaroni seemed about flowing Aiden asked to help I didn't mind as long as he wasn't reckless with it "Sure!" I replied "Can you drain the macaroni," I asked and turned off the stove he went to the kitchen cabinet to find it and I went to the fridge to get a packet of cheddar cheese powder I was looking for it until I heard a loud crash "what the fuck?" "shoot" I heard Aiden say so I peeked over "AIDEN!"

Aiden's POV;
I was pouring the pan into the drainer when I accidentally splashed some of the hot water onto my wrist "Shoot" "AIDEN!" I heard Ashlyn yell she quickly dropped the pack of cheese and ran over to me she sighed and grabbed my arm gently sat me down on a chair took out a cloth dipped it in cold water and started dabbing it on my wrist "Please be careful next time Aiden, you're burnt pretty bad" she said, "Ashlyn I dropped all the macaroni on the floor.." I was pretty ashamed of myself whenever I tried to do something right it always went the wrong way "It's fine hold on keep dabbing this on your wrist" I did as she said and she picked up a microwaveable Mac n Cheese from the kitchen cabinet "are you mad at me?" I asked she replied "Yes you got yourself a 1st degree burn" "No like about the macaroni," I said looking at the mess I was kinda shocked she didn't care she was just worried about my burn which I have encountered numerous times she tossed the mac n cheese in the microwave and then she took the cold cloth away and applied burn gel on my wrist and then wrapped my wrist in a nonstick bandage "does it hurt?" She asked "It kinda burns" She got me a bottle of water and some pain relievers "Do you feel better now?"

Ashlyn's POV;
"do you feel better now?" "Yeah thanks"
he replied "All right, come on I'll bring the food to you" I lent my hand and walked him up to my room "Stay here I'll get you the Mac n cheese," as I was walking down to the kitchen I couldn't stop blaming myself for Aiden's burn. why did I let him help me?? I was cleaning up the macaroni after that I put the microwaved macaroni in a bowl and brought it up to my room "here you go" I gave him the macaroni he looked a bit sad and upset with his hood up "are you alright?" I asked concerned "..Ashlyn" "Yes?" "Do you find me annoying, needy, clingy?" He asked in a shaky voice I hugged him we cuddled in silence for a few minutes "I just want you to be more careful because I care about you whether you care about yourself or not" I realized how hungry he was while he gobbled on his Mac cheese "wow when was the last time you ate?" "I don't remember" he replied and put the empty dish aside I stroked his blonde hair "Promise you'll try to take better care of yourself?" "What if I don't?" He pouted "You're a good type of annoying" I chuckled and smiled "What do you mean?" He asked turning to me "I'm saying I love you"

Aiden's POV;
"promise you'll try to take better care of yourself?" "what if I don't?" I pouted and crossed my arms "You're a good type of annoying" she said "What do you mean?" I asked turning my head to her curiously "I'm saying I love you" She put her hand on mine, catching me off guard. But then, I wrapped my arms around her and snuggled into her waist. "I love you too," I mumbled under her hoodie. She smiled and stroked my hair, providing comfort. Eventually, I fell asleep in her arms.

I'm getting a bit busier nowadays, plus school just started for me and I don't have as much time or energy anymore. I'll try to keep posting when I can anyways that's all love you pooks! 🎀
