ren X reader [cute coffee shop edition]

the stream that started it all.

i was sitting at home after a long day at college. i was majoring in law school and had a full scholarship ride so i had no debt. i was also a beautiful woman. i was the ideal partner for a nice, blue-collared man who wear flannels.

but you know what really was my favorite....?

scary games.

i sat down on my bed and sighed - what a shitty day! good thing my FAVORITE HORROR STREAMER just went live!

i squealed and kicked my feet. REN was ONLINE!

"hi ren!" i sent in chat.

ren turned his attention to the chat once my message appeared. the way the light of his monitors and the yellow lights shine off of his glasses... whoa.

"hello, y/n," he said, in his deep, soothing voice. he smiled - something i have grown to enjoy.

i smiled, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks...

"how are you? tell me if my stream is laggy. i pay good money for this. do you guys know that?"

his deep voice boomed. 

his voice was crispy, but that is okay. i dont mind it. his mic wasnt the greatest, but i could see past it - and oh, ohh, his love for coffee.... dont even get me STARTED! mmm....

"your stream looks perfect :]" i type in chat. i am lying.

"whew," ren said. "thank you y/n... i was worried. let's open the game, then, shall we?"

and just like that, the coffee beans spilled all across the screen, just like my love poured out for him.

and that was the start of it.
