a boring day at work when... REN SHOWS UP?! [REAL]

it was ANOTHER boring day at work, at the cafe that i worked at, since i was a barista. i made a coffee drink and gave it to the customer and sighed. so boring!

but then the bell of the door jingled, and my life changed forever.

i looked over to see a beautiful, towering man approach the counter. time slowed as he carded his hands through his luscious black locks, mulling over the options on the chalkboard.
his eyes scanned over the options with a sort of methodical process to it. it was amazing to watch the way his beautiful orb eyes looked at the things that i wrote...

but then it got even better.

ren put his hands on the counter - oh my god oh my GOD - it's really ren! i felt my knees weaken as the scent of his cologne wafted to my nostrils. it was... was that.. Rainforest Rapids Deodorant by Dr. Squatch?!

"hello," his deep voice reverberated off of the floors. it was so manly.

"i dont know what to order. could you suggest to me your favorite beverage off of this menu?"

i didn't even realize my mouth had been hanging open that whole time, or that i was not breathing, until i gasped sharply for air.

"m....me? oh... well... i like the... caramel macchiato upsidedown breve with extra caramel drizzle iced... " i trailed off, i was so shy and so meek.

"hm...." his deep voice trailed off as he looked me up and down. i felt my skin light on fire as his eyes trailed down my body, pausing to look at work clothes.

"i will do just that. thank you...."

his eyes looked back up to mine and they locked.

"y/n." he said.

i make the drink with butterflies in my stomach. as i gave him the coffee he ordered, i made sure to write my number on the coaster.

"thank you, have a good day," i squeaked.

"thank you for making my day better." ren said with a smile that made my bones melt.

as ren walked out of the shop, i felt my phone buzz.
