Zero yawned as he rolled in his bed, stretching and shaking the blanket off him.
"Morning sleepy head," he heard a voice call from a nearby seat.
He turned and rubbed his eyes before seeing the large Operator relaxing on one of the few seats that littered his room. Andrew was eating from a bag of chips, crunching loudly as he looked at the Husky.
"What are you doing in my room?" Zero asked, flexing his tail and shaking out his muscles. "It's creepy to watch me sleep."
"It's even creepier knowing you sleep naked," Andrew replied, his mouth full.
Zero looked at him, concerned and confused. "And, I'm always naked, I'm a Dog," he explained.
"I know, its fucking weird. You don't see me walking around naked everywhere."
"Andrew... i... I'm too tired for this shit," Zero began walking to a nearby doorway as Andrew began to chuckle. "I'm going to shower to try wake up and... figure out what the fuck you're talking about."
"You better not come out naked," Andrew shouted as the door shut behind him.
Zero shook his head and chuckled as he entered the big tiled room that made up his shower, he pushed his head against the far wall and felt the Water begin to rush over him from a spout above. He placed his paw on the wall and turned it, increasing the temperature and feeling his muscles relax. The past week had nearly been non stop fighting and training and chasing Rogues, it had taken its toll on the Husky and his small team. None of the Rogues they had fought ever made it back to the base, some dying before capture, or just flat out disappearing. Something strange was going on. He felt his tail droop as the hot Water washed over him, he sighed deeply and tested his muscles, rolling them one by one and shaking himself out. He pressed his head against the wall once more and the Water stopped, he quickly shook himself off and stepped out of the shower to find Andrew in the exact same position as before, only this time he had a new bag of chips.
"Can you stop... *yawn* eating my chips?" He asked, stretching his body.
"Oooooh big stretch," Andrew replied, looking at him.
"You're such a pain in the ass, so what's on the docket for today?"
"We're interrogating the rogues," Andrew replied, biting into another chip.
"We?"
Andrew pointed with his thumb and pinkie and motioned between the two of them. "Mari and King are doing runs. And this is super important, so you better put some pants on."
Zero looked at the man with confusion. "This bit isn't funny."
"It's freaking hilarious," Andrew replied.
"Shouldn't your dad be handling this type of thing?"
"You think the Military Premier has time for something as small as interrogating the Rogues that rampaged through the city and nearly robbed a bank?" Andrew replied in a single breath. "He hasn't even had time to come see me since I made Operator, this isn't important to him."
"Alright then, let's get moving," Zero shrugged as he began walking towards the door, expecting his friend to follow. The two of them made their way to the elevator and stood in silence as it took them to the holding cells, the silence broken up by Andrew's crunching.
The Operator led the way down the hall, coming to a desk that was surrounded by armed guards, several Operators sat behind the desk each with their own computer, some were talking into headsets while others typed on their keyboards. The closest Operator noticed the two of them approaching and held out a file. "He's ready for you in room two," the female spoke without looking up.
