Jun hesitated, unsure about accepting Yashi's invitation. But something about Yashi's warm smile put him at ease.
"Sure, I'd love to," Jun said, trying to sound casual.
Yashi grinned. "Great! There's a cozy café nearby."
As they walked, Jun couldn't help but steal glances at Yashi. His messy black hair, bright brown eyes, and effortless charm made Jun's heart flutter.
At the café, they ordered coffee and settled into a quiet corner.
"So, Jun, what's your favorite subject?" Yashi asked, sipping his coffee.
Jun smiled. "History. I love learning about ancient civilizations."
Yashi's eyes lit up. "No way! I'm a history buff too."
Their conversation flowed effortlessly, covering everything from favorite TV shows to childhood memories.
Jun felt surprisingly comfortable around Yashi, like they'd known each other for years.
As they finished their coffee, Yashi glanced at his watch.
"Wow, I didn't realize how late it was," Yashi said. "I have a class soon."
Jun nodded, feeling a pang of disappointment.
"Thanks for the coffee, Yashi," Jun said, gathering his belongings.
Yashi stood, towering over Jun. "No problem, Jun. Would you like to do it again sometime?"
Their eyes met, and Jun's heart skipped a beat.
