It's been a week since the whole syphon witch and soul bond incident, and Rain didn't really get out of her apartment that much. She stayed inside, studying, cooking, doing chores, hanging out with Davina. The girl was still staying at her apartment but Rain didn't mind - it was actually nice to have someone in the empty studio. The witch tried her best to stay out of the banshee's way and to not bother her, even though Rain told her to make herself at home. She was a teenager after all, she needed someone in her life that she could lean on. So little by little, Davina was loosening up, becoming more comfortable in Rain's company. But what two women didn't talk about was the drama that was life in New Orleans.

Marcel occasionally came to visit the two women, coffee or dinner, nothing special. He kept them in the loop about recent activities around the city, but what occupied Rain's mind was what Camille asked the banshee when she invited her over for dinner.

"So, your friend has been asking about you." Camille stated as she put a mouthful of Rain's famous vegetarian pasta in her mouth.

Rain's fork slipped through her fingers at her words, clicking against the black porcelain plate. Davina and Camille looked at her, surprised by her reaction but went back to eating.

Rain cleared her throat, taking the fork back into her hand. "What friend?"

"The handsome one. Klaus." Camille said as a matter of fact, letting out a small chuckle.

"What did he say?" Rain's blood started to boil from anger as she specifically told the hybrid to stay away from the blonde. Of course he wouldn't listen.

"He asked about you, said you were ignoring his texts and calls." Camille shrugged her shoulders, not seeing what the big deal was about.

Yes, Rain ignored Klaus' texts and calls. She didn't want to get too involved with him and since Marcel asked her to stay away for a while, that's what she did. She would exchange a few texts with Rebekah or Elijah, but that's it.

"We had a fight, I was not in the mood to listen to him." Rain didn't quite lie, it all happened. It was true, just not about why she was ignoring him.

Davina whipped her mouth with a napkin, done with her meal. "He's an ass. Rain has the full right to ignore him."

Rain and Camille simultaneously gasped at the girl's choice of words, before bursting out into laughter. It was nice, hanging out with the girls. Rain was always surrounded by male company, that's how she liked it. Or maybe she just didn't have the right female company before.
