Walking into the place her friend worked, Rain went straight to the bar and sat on one of the high stools. Camille caught sight of the woman, and approached her with a huge smile until she saw the bruises on her neck.

"Oh my God, what happened?" The worry in her tone of voice was evident to anyone nearby, her eyes wide and mouth open in shock.

Rain ran her fingertips over the skin of her neck, all blue and purple. "Robbery gone wrong. But I'm okay, don't worry." She tried to reassure the blonde calmly as she didn't know anything about the supernatural. And Rain intended to keep it that way. Camille was too kind and a nice person to be involved in a mess that's their life.

"Are you sure? You know you can always talk to me if you want." Camille offered.

Rain widened her eyes at the woman, "Don't try to shrink me."

That statement made two friends laugh and that's what she needed right now to ease her mind a little bit. Ever since the original family came back, it was nothing but trouble and danger.

"I can't help it. It's in my nature now." Camille shrugged her shoulders, taking a wine glass to polish it. "What can I get you?"

"Black coffee, please. Large." Rain signed while rubbing her forehead to try and soothe the headache. It didn't stop hurting since yesterday, ever since Klaus saved her life. She was truly lucky that he was passing by at the right time, even though Marcel placed some doubt in her mind. Nothing was pure luck with that man.

Rain thanked Camille as she put a large mug of bitter liquid in front of her, the smell already making her brain swell down a bit.

"So, did that handsome friend find you the other night?" Camille smirked teasingly at Rain, her coffee almost coming out of her nose.

"What did you say?" Rain asked, not having a good feeling about this.

"The guy from the charity event last night. Tall, dirty blonde, blue eyes. I could have sworn I saw you two talking at the bar." Camille explained, not seeing what the big deal was about. "I think he said his name was Klaus."

Alarms started to go off in Rain's head, hands trembling to the point she needed to tighten her grip on a mug, her knuckles turning white. "What did he say to you?"

"Nothing much. Just that he lost your phone number when his phone broke and he came here to surprise you." Camille explained, "Did I do something wrong?"
